1. Brand philosophy of no animal testing (seems like the entire brand is cruelty-free, not just specific products). 2. It's surprisingly difficult to find a gentle shampoo (even those advertised as mild often contain harsh ingredients), but this brand's products are generally gentle and non-irritating, which is excellent. 3. The beautiful packaging makes showering a more enjoyable experience every time. 4. Great value for money. 5. Unlike many 'good ingredient' shampoos that can cause itching, this product doesn't make my scalp itch.

1. The cleansing effectiveness is weak. Double shampooing is a must, and sometimes I even need to wash three times. While some gentle shampoos may not lather as much but still clean well, this one just seems a bit weak in cleansing power. I wish they'd focus on dry/oily hair types instead of different scents. Oil seems to build up quickly. Still, after thorough washing, it's okay when dry (it leaves hair very soft, which is nice for those who don't like using conditioner). Update: Even with multiple washes, oil returns too quickly. I might repurchase, but not for summer use. 2. While the shampoo scent is nice, for a brand that emphasizes good ingredients, I really wish they'd use allergy-free fragrances. The current scent isn't strong, but a safer option would be even better.
