First, thoroughly wet the entire scalp with lukewarm (warm) water. Lather up the scalp with the first shampoo application. I used this product a long time ago, and I found out that it's also available at Daiso now. It lathers up well and has a pleasant fragrance.
Cons
I couldn't really find any downsides. It didn't quite work for my scalp, so I switched after using one bottle, but I'm going to check the ingredients again as my children's scalps didn't react well.
