Definitely, just one day after quitting tints and using this, the tingling sensation decreased significantly. My lips feel comfortable. The color payoff is surprisingly good, and it's adequately matte, so it doesn't transfer much to cups.
Cons1. Color: Is this really coral? On me, it turns purple. It's like a desaturated hot pink with a hint of purple? Unfortunately, it's my least favorite color. 2. Hydration: It clumps up thickly while drying out, making my lips look all shriveled. It doesn't come off easily either. Something feels off about it.
TipPerhaps applying it in a very thin layer?

That's its biggest advantage. My sister, who developed an allergic reaction on her lips, recommended it - so you know the ingredients are tried and true! The formula is gentle enough to wear even with a bare face. Heart for texture I don't like heavy lip products, but this one feels just right - less sticky than a lip balm, yet refreshing! It gives me a sense that my lips are becoming healthier. Heart for packaging The packaging is clean and simple, which suits my taste. It's also sturdy! The compact size makes it great for carrying around.
ConsHeart for quantity The amount seems small for the price! Heart for color As someone with a strong warm undertone... I bought this because it was advertised as a warm shade, but it looks a bit off on my face. It's better when I'm wearing full makeup. The swatch on my hand has an orange tint, but on my lips, it's slightly purple...? Maybe it's just my lips. This is the biggest drawback for me. Heart for scent The scent is a bit peculiar...? It's strange. But it's not so bad that I can't use the product.
TipAs others have mentioned, there are small granules...? that appear as you use it. I'm not sure what they are. But it's not bothersome enough to be a concern.

Longevity: It lasts surprisingly longer than other lip balms.
ConsColor: I expected a rose coral, but when applied, it turned out to be more of an orange coral.

Color: I've tried three shades of this lip cure balm, and Muse is the best. The color is universally flattering. It's so versatile that you don't need to worry about your skin tone. I initially bought Athena based on reviews saying Muse lacked color, but now I regret not getting Muse from the start. 2. Application: I'm not sure about the pre-renewal Muse, but the one I bought a few months ago and still use has excellent absorption. The color is subtle enough that you can apply it carelessly like a clear lip balm. It doesn't apply unevenly like a tint, and though occasional clumps appear, they blend in naturally when spread. Initially, it feels like applying melted crayon, but over time and with reapplication, it becomes indistinguishable from your natural lips in terms of shine and texture. 3. Hydration: Unless you have extremely dry lips, it's suitable for frequent application to maintain moisture. The advertising claims seem fairly accurate. I usually slather on jojoba lip essence before bed or after washing, but when I replaced it with this product, I didn't feel any deep dryness even in winter.
Cons1. Color change: The slight variation with each application was mentioned on their website, and it's within Muse's 'versatile' range, so it's fine. However, over time, only the pink tones remain. Athena had the same issue, though Muse is less severe. The warm, orangey tones disappear from the lips but remain on cups, making it look like you've been eating kimchi stew. 2. Unsightly dead skin cells: After applying it beautifully, small, moist flakes of dead skin appear on the inner lips after a while. Even when applied to smooth lips, these round clumps of dead skin cells inevitably form, which can be embarrassing when removing your mask in public. Reapplying more frequently can sometimes prevent this, but it's an unwelcome regular occurrence. 3. Stickiness: As it dries, it becomes tacky rather than moisturizing or elastic. If you rub your lips together, it feels like you've applied and dried sugar water on them.
TipWhen in doubt about color, always choose Muse balm! Want to look made up without makeup? → Muse balm Pale lips but don't want harsh color cosmetics? → Muse balm Want a lip balm you can apply quickly and easily? → Muse balm

ConsFirst off, it's not moisturizing and the color is dull. The tone is too dark, making your complexion look lifeless, and the price is outrageous. To make matters worse, it pills. When it pills, the built-up lines become noticeably lighter, creating a stark orange tint that really stands out. And you can't even return this product.
TipUse it sparingly by applying in small amounts. Don't apply it too thick, and if your lips are dry, layer a clear lip balm over this product.

Hmm... there are no advantages. I'm sorry.
Cons• It's expensive. • The color swatches are completely misleading (while all brands do this to some extent, this level of deception is unprecedented in my lip product purchasing history). Regardless of the shade, it seems to be an unattractive purplish color that dulls the complexion. • It has a Vaseline-like texture. • It stings, swells, and hurts. My lips started to peel. (If you continue using it, your lips will sting, itch, develop bumps, swell more, bleed, ooze (alternating between blood and fluid), form scabs and dead skin, crack, and transform into elephant-like skin. Besides looking hideous, the itching and pain make daily life unbearable.) It's absolutely maddening.
TipPeople often think that natural and organic products are better for sensitive skin, but that's not true. Dermatologists are well aware of this fact. (I knew it too, but I forgot) You should absolutely avoid natural oils. I'm done with them. People with sensitive skin should stay away from 'natural' products. The term 'natural' itself can be 'dangerous' for those with sensitivities. Well-refined, stabilized, and processed human-made products are actually the best for people like us. Natural plant oils ❌ Mineral (petroleum-based) oils 👍 (So comfortable~) However, we should still try to avoid ingredients that are: - Classified as high-risk - Chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, etc.) - High concentrations of functional ingredients (like whitening agents) Especially 'allergy warning' ingredients - using those would be like signing your own death warrant. I'm selling this on the secondhand market the very next day. Tip for regular consumers: Many of these are available secondhand, so buy them used.

Even when I apply tint or lipstick on perfectly conditioned lips, they immediately become dry and flaky. Applying lip balm in between doesn't help much when using tint. However, this product actually removes existing dead skin cells! I highly recommend it to those with sensitive lips like mine. I was worried about the color payoff, but it actually applies quite well.
Cons1. Warm tone? Cool tone? As a warm-toned person who doesn't suit high saturation colors, I bought this thinking it was warm-toned based on the official website and wrist swatches. However, it's cooler than I expected. While it looks warm (muted coral? orange?) when swatched on a tissue, it appears cool on my lips. Warm-toned individuals with lips that easily pick up blue undertones might prefer Athena or Theia instead. On my lips, it comes out as a light undertone or lukewarm dried rose color. 2. Emphasizes wrinkles It accentuates wrinkles more than I anticipated.
TipFor those who find it lacks hydration, try adding a drop of hydrating ampoule to your lips. It makes them look much more vibrant.

You can even apply it before bed, making it a must-have for travel. The color looks natural on bare skin. It's great that it smooths out dead skin cells, preventing them from being noticeable.
ConsIt has more of a pink undertone than expected. I was hoping for a slightly orange hue, but unfortunately that's not the case. The color seems different from the swatches on the official website. It's not particularly hydrating.

The color is subtle, and it's easy to apply.
ConsI bought it thinking it would be more of a coral shade, but when I actually applied it, it had a strong orange undertone. It might not work well for cool skin tones.
TipIt's okay if you apply it lightly.

It's a great alternative to regular tints or lipsticks for everyday use.
ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but after wearing it for a while, I notice a yellowish color on the inside of my lips. When I wipe it off, it's not the original lip balm color, but a yellow-orange mix. It also transfers easily onto clothes and bedding. Additionally, when I apply it before bed, I wake up with some kind of buildup on my lips.
