I love that they've carefully excluded heavy ingredients and included squalane, while still maintaining a substantial feel. It's not too lightweight, which I really appreciate. Propanediol is my favorite ingredient, and I was thrilled to find it high up on the ingredient list in both the Awesome Aloe Vera Toner and the Lemon Balm Emulsion Cream. Personally, I'm also a fan of caprylic/capric triglyceride, hydrogenated lecithin, and carrot extract, so I'm delighted to see them all included. When searching for organic emulsion creams with good ingredients, they're often either too light and insufficient, or if they're satisfyingly hydrating, they usually contain glyceryl caprylate, coco-caprylate, sterols, and heavy oils. These tend to cause milia for me, so I always avoid them. I'm pleased that Awesome doesn't include these problematic ingredients. The product is so perfect that there's nothing to criticize. This cream is highly moisturizing and great for combination to dry skin, so it might be a bit rich for very oily skin types. If you have very oily skin, try a different line of creams instead of the Lemon Balm one - they have a specific Aloe Vera cream for oily skin. As an Awesome enthusiast, I've tried the Aloe cream too, and it seems perfect for balancing oil production and providing hydration for combination to oily skin. When you use this brand's toner, emulsion, and cream together, you get a natural Inner Glow that builds up from within. It's a really beautiful, subtle glow that I love.
