I use this instead of toner. Usually, toners that finish with a fresh feel contain alcohol, which dries out my skin quickly, while moisturizing toners have oils that make my skin break out... So I've been using serum instead of toner. However, other serums tend to sit on top of bare skin after cleansing and don't absorb well. This one absorbs nicely and leaves my skin hydrated. It also prepares my skin for better absorption of other skincare products that follow, just like a toner would. I apply it directly to my skin for absorption, rather than using it as a wipe-off product. It seems this product is a rebranded and slightly reformulated version of the Jeju Olga Hydrating Serum, with a price increase. While it's a bit disappointing since the previous Jeju Olga was so affordable, I've accepted it and continue to use it happily. If you're a toner nomad, try using this product instead of toner...!
