I'm on my third bottle of the Mugwort Calming Gel from Graymelin, so I decided to give this a try too. Personally, I think mugwort ingredients really suit my skin. The texture is quite thick, so you need to scoop it out with the spatula provided. Right after applying, I was surprised by the intense warming sensation, but it soon settles into a gentle warmth. 10-15 minutes later, after rinsing it off, my skin texture was amazing! My makeup went on beautifully the next day too. It was a success! I used it 2-3 times a week and didn't experience any blemishes. Kudos to this product! I was so focused on the mugwort that I overlooked the 'moxibustion' part... It has a strong herbal scent, which might be hit or miss depending on your fragrance preferences. If you have delicate or super sensitive skin, avoid rolling it on. The scrub particles are quite coarse, so I just rinsed it off without massaging. Still, the effects are great. My skin feels smooth and hydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2021
**Just jotting down my personal thoughts, so please take this as purely subjective** The texture is firm and thick, maintaining its shape - kind of like Greek yogurt with all the whey strained out, you know? There's a subtle herbal scent with a hint of mugwort, which wasn't unpleasant at all. When applied, you can feel a warming sensation - it's nice and toasty! (I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any issues) This product was so disappointing that I'm curious if anyone would repurchase it. I bought it, tried it, found it lacking, and stashed it away. Now, after a long time, I'm using it again to write this review, and... yep, still no effect for me. Sure, it warms up, but that's about it. There's absolutely no pore-opening or sebum-removing action going on. Surprisingly, there's zero difference before and after use. I had high hopes based on the product description, but... nope. Just... nope. Nothing at all... I'm currently using it mixed with a foam cleanser. Oh, I just thought - I should try it with a cleansing oil! If I notice any effects, I'll update this review.
