I've tried other AHA/BHA toners before, but this one is definitely different! - Lemon scent I absolutely love the lemon fragrance, so this was a huge plus for me. It's refreshingly sweet. - Skin refinement With my previous toner and emulsion, I sometimes had a slightly bumpy texture, but with this toner, that issue disappeared, and my skin became smoother. - No excess oil With my old toner, I'd wake up with some oiliness on my face. While it would be a lie to say this toner leaves no oil at all, it's significantly less, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte. - Exfoliating toner I didn't usually use exfoliating toners before. But after reading reviews, I noticed many people use it as an exfoliating toner. I tried both methods, and due to the toner's slight viscosity, it works well applied normally or as an exfoliating toner. It's gentle either way, not harsh at all. Just make sure to use good quality cotton pads to avoid irritating your skin!
- Not ideal for use alone I wouldn't recommend using this toner by itself. When I tried using just the toner, my skin felt slightly dry. You'll definitely need to lock in the moisture with an emulsion afterward. Other than that, I didn't really find any other downsides.
As I mentioned above: Use good quality cotton pads when exfoliating. Don't use the toner alone; follow up with an emulsion.
