There's nothing good to say. It really doesn't cleanse properly. I received it as a gift and used it, but it leaves residue and doesn't remove makeup effectively. It truly doesn't remove makeup well. You need to cleanse twice to barely get it off, and makeup gets stuck in the creases around the nose and doesn't come off. Since it doesn't remove well, you end up rubbing harder, causing irritation. ✔️Scent: The fragrance is pleasantly subtle. While the scent of cosmetics is indeed important, this one has a gentle, soothing aroma that's just right for the moment you're removing your makeup. It's not an overpowering scent that might put you off, but rather a faint, comforting fragrance that puts you at ease. ✔️Packaging: At first glance, it looks like a typical pump bottle, but it's quite different. Turn it right to use, left to lock. You know how with regular pump bottles, you often need to insert something or pump once while turning left to lock it? That's why we rarely carry them around and instead decant for portability. But! Caudalie's packaging is top-notch. Just a half-turn to the left, and it locks completely without any leakage! Turn it right again to unlock and pump. The size is also perfect for carrying. Though it looks ordinary, this special container deserves a full ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars. ✔️Texture: Some cleansing milks are runny, which can be inconvenient to use. This one has a nice, firm consistency. It's not so thick that it's hard to spread, but just right. It feels like a product where they've carefully balanced everything. You can see the attention to detail throughout. ✔️Test: Please refer to the photos. I tested it on foundation, mineral sunscreen, chemical sunscreen, eyebrow product, pencil eyeliner, pen eyeliner, staining tint, and lipstick in that order. ✔️First Cleanse: Everything except the lip products came off with the first cleanse. To be honest, the eyeliner I used is a super-strong, non-smudging type that's usually very difficult to remove. I didn't expect much and just tried it as a test, but I was surprised. (I thought, 'This won't come off, right?' when testing.) However, the lip products remained after the first cleanse. I expected the tint to remain since it's a staining type. ✔️Second Cleanse: I followed up with a foam cleanser. The slight residue left after the first cleanse was completely cleared away with the foam cleanser. However, as expected, the staining tint remained. As we all know from experience, tints actually stain the skin, so it's difficult to remove them completely with any cleansing product. ✔️Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars. Honestly, I don't usually expect strong cleansing power from cleansing milks (in my opinion). I typically use other products for days when I only wear light makeup like sunscreen and eyebrow product. For heavier makeup days like in this test, I usually do a three-step routine: makeup remover for lips and eyes, then cleansing oil, then foam cleanser. But this product, despite being a cleansing milk, has cleansing power that rivals oils! And there was no irritation. Now I'm even more curious about Caudalie's cleansing oil. The cleansing effectiveness speaks for itself, and I found no faults in terms of packaging convenience, fragrance, or skin irritation - and I'm quite picky about these things. This was my first experience with Caudalie through a tester program, but I think I'll need to purchase more to continue using it. The price point is also reasonable, making it a great product to try yourself or give as a gift without hesitation. There's really nothing to complain about with this product. I think the price is reasonable and I'm extremely satisfied with it in many aspects. If I had to pick one thing, it would be that it doesn't remove tints... but that's really nitpicking! If anyone knows of a product that can remove tints completely, please let me know. When doing your first cleanse, remember to gently massage in circular motions and then emulsify with lukewarm water - that's essential! Softly work it into an emulsion, rinse, and then follow up with a light second cleanse to finish.
