  Instead of a room spray, I use this perfume when I want to escape the everyday grind and immerse myself in nature. The hinoki (Japanese cypress) scent creates a sense of tranquility. It transports me to a serene forest, evoking the beauty and quiet stillness of nature, helping to alleviate stress and find inner peace. I love spritzing this fragrance to find mental calm and serenity through the essence of the forest.

  I think this scent would work better as a diffuser or room spray.

  * Longevity - I was surprised by how long-lasting it is, exceeding my expectations. I spritzed it twice on my wrists, hair, behind my ears, and clothes in the morning, and the fragrance lingered even after work. * Scent - It's perfect for late autumn to winter. The deep woody musk scent might be polarizing, but if you're a fan of woody or hinoki fragrances, you'll likely enjoy it without hesitation. - I love how the base notes elegantly linger, more so than the top or middle notes! It feels like you're enveloped in a subtle forest aroma! * Price - At 59,000 won for 30ml, it seems quite cost-effective for a perfume!

  As a greenery enthusiast, this fragrance gave me immense satisfaction. The journey from a hinoki-like woodiness to a verdant forest trail is truly captivating. The scent's evolution is quite noticeable, making it far from monotonous. From the middle notes, you can catch occasional whiffs of Comme des Garçons' signature green tea. It strikes a comfortable mood without leaning too heavily into the trendy 'temple' style. True to its name, it's a well-crafted, calming scent that I can see myself treasuring for a long time. Personally, among Nonfiction's offerings, Forest and Gentle Night are my favorites. I'd wear Gentle Night when I want to feel a bit more sophisticated, while Forest seems perfect for daily use. Overall, I absolutely loved it!

  Pros

  The hinoki scent makes you feel like you're in nature, haha! It has a subtle, captivating charm.

  Cons

  It's a scent I'd prefer in my home rather than on my body. I wish they had room sprays or diffusers with this fragrance. It's a shame it's only available as a perfume... It would be great if they made soap or body wash too. Unfortunately, the scent of the perfume fades much faster than expected!
