  Pros

  It effectively controls excess oil and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean. If you don't have sensitive skin, this could be a great option for summer use.

  Cons

  I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. My face started tingling during cleansing, and immediately after, my skin felt extremely dry. It seemed to worsen my combination dehydrated skin issues.

  Pros

  Its mildly alkaline nature makes it incredibly effective at cleansing. It leaves your skin feeling fresher and more thoroughly cleansed than slightly acidic products, which is why I kept using this product.

  Cons

  However, at some point, I started developing blemishes. I'm not sure if it was because of this product, but my skin barrier seemed to break down, leading to seborrheic dermatitis.

  Tip

  While I was initially satisfied with how well it cleansed and how clean my skin felt due to its mild alkalinity, I had to stop using it when my skin barrier weakened. I would recommend slightly acidic products for those with super sensitive skin.
