Definitely more effective than regular stick lip balms. While it has features that enhance volume and reduce wrinkles, I feel it mainly protects your lips from getting worse. This is a chapped lip. I had to take medicine to calm down the small blisters, and when it was dry, my lips would crack and small bumps would appear.
