The price is quite steep. It feels lighter than its predecessor, the Skin Caviar Crystalline Concentrate, which might be a bit too light for those with dry skin. Sometimes, the capsule shell doesn't fully dissolve and can come out in clumps. There's a unique satisfaction in breaking the capsule to use it, and the design is quite sophisticated. It's not sticky at all, and you can instantly feel your skin becoming firmer. Overall, La Prairie products don't suit me well. Regardless of the ingredients (many of which seemed fine when I analyzed them), they make my skin itchy, and I wake up the next day with small red blemishes, no matter which line I try. Also, if you apply too much, it pills and leaves my skin feeling dry. With so many great products available these days, this one feels like it falls short of justifying its price tag. It might be best to apply small amounts of products from the same line for better results.
