I was pleasantly surprised by how long it lasted. It applies smoothly and didn't seem to cause any blemishes. I chose this product because it claimed to have minimal oiliness, which I prefer. A little goes a long way - you can cover your entire face with just a small amount! It seems to provide great hydration too. Appearance: The product comes in a pump bottle, which is great for its generous size. It has a twist-lock mechanism to prevent leaks! Texture: True to its name 'Essence in Emulsion', the texture is a perfect blend of essence and emulsion. It applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. They call it 'matte but moisturized', but to me it feels like it tightens the skin while keeping it hydrated underneath. My skin feels firmer! Benefits: It's said to be effective for brightening and improving wrinkles. Scent: It's fragrance-free, which I absolutely love! Review: While it's recommended for combination dehydrated skin, as someone with very dry skin, I need to layer a cream on top. However, it applies smoothly and helps with deep dryness, so I find myself reaching for it often! The locking cap helps keep air out!

As a lightweight emulsion suitable for use before cream, it initially provided a pleasant application experience. It stings. Even on days without outdoor activities or specific skin issues, applying this alone causes a tingling sensation. I tested other skincare products individually and confirmed this was the culprit. After stopping use and putting it away, my skin became much calmer. I don't think I can use it anymore. Though I don't have super sensitive skin, something in it didn't agree with me. I absolutely love this product! I didn't have high expectations, but this one item alone leaves my skin hydrated with a natural glow. There's no pilling when I apply sunscreen or foundation over it. It's become my favorite for my combination dehydrated skin. While I bought it at a sale price, I still wish the product came completely full. I'm satisfied with how it absorbs. You need to pat it in a bit for absorption, but that's common for all products. It's great for those with sensitive and oily skin types. In terms of hydration, I'd give it 3 to 4 stars out of 5. Other than that, I can't think of any particular drawbacks at the moment. I recommend spraying a bit of facial mist before applying the product.
