- Lather and feel It produces a rich, abundant lather and rinses off smoothly. While it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, there's no slippery residue or leftover product, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after cleansing, which I love. I experienced no irritation whatsoever. - Cleansing effectiveness As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to excess oil, I pay close attention to impurity removal. I found this cleanser to be gentle yet effective enough for oily skin types, without causing any irritation. It's not a powerhouse with intense absorption, though. When removing makeup, I use this as a second cleanse after my cleansing water or oil. It effectively removes any remaining base makeup from enlarged pores or acne scars, and it also does a great job of washing away any slippery residue left by cleansing oils. After cleansing, there's no tightness, and it seems to remove excess oil effectively! I wouldn't recommend this for those sensitive to scents. The smell is really off-putting... It has an incredibly soft texture with a subtle, pleasant grain fragrance. After cleansing, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry, and it seems to have a calming effect that helps reduce irritation. There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this product. Since fermented products usually suit my skin well, I decided to give this a try. It's gentle and contains grain ingredients, which is great for the skin. It also cleanses effectively. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. At first, I thought it was okay, but the more I used it, the less it seemed to agree with my skin. I think I'm experiencing the typical skin reaction that occurs when fermented products don't suit me.

My skin type: Combination dry, blemish-prone.. Even though it's mildly acidic, you don't need to squeeze out much to get an incredible amount of foam! It contains fermented rice extract, so the scent... It feels like you've dived into a vat of makgeolli (Korean rice wine)! If you're a fan of makgeolli, you might enjoy using this. After cleansing, there's no irritation, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable. I've added it to my list of products to stock up on when there are discounts on the Hwahae app and elsewhere. The best part about this product is that there's nothing to complain about! I used to use any foam cleanser without much thought, but when my skin became dry, I couldn't just use anything anymore. After washing, my face would feel so dry it hurt. I bought this while looking for something moisturizing, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable even after cleansing. I keep repurchasing it. 1. It's hydrating even for dry skin after washing. 2. It lathers well. 3. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. 1. The price. I'm satisfied using it because I bought it on sale at Cou*, but at full price it feels a bit expensive. 2. The grain scent might be hit or miss for some. I personally don't mind it. Stock up when it's on sale!

First off, it lathers up amazingly well even with just a tiny amount. I used to think low pH cleansers didn't foam well, but this one creates a rich, abundant lather. What's more, there's no irritation after cleansing, and my skin feels comfortable. As someone with super sensitive skin that sometimes gets red and blotchy after cleansing, I'm happy to report this product hasn't caused any such issues. The product contains fermented rice extract, which gives it a distinct aroma - slightly musty yet nutty, reminiscent of flour. I've gotten used to it after using it a couple of times and now I quite like it. However, I can see how some people might not be fans of this scent.

I bought this because of its gentle ingredients and affordable price, and I'm really happy with it. I have sensitive skin, but it doesn't irritate at all. It's less drying and cleanses well. The scent is a bit off-putting. Every time I use it, there's a strange smell that's characteristic of some ingredient. I've been using it for my morning and evening cleansing routine.
