The absorption is wonderfully moisturizing! The texture isn't thick, so it absorbs smoothly into the back of your hand. It's a great product for light application. The description mentions a clean laundry scent like in a guesthouse, and it really does match that description perfectly. It smells just like freshly washed clothes straight out of the washing machine. I think it's a universally appealing fragrance! While the scent is nice, I wish it was a bit less intense. For me, it felt quite strong, so I ended up squeezing out a small amount and mixing it with an unscented hand cream when applying! Hours after applying it to my hands, even after washing them, there's still a residual feeling that's quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight hand cream. (I only used it a few times before giving up.)
