It might work well as a foundation substitute on days when I use physical sunscreen.

As it's thinner than my usual product, it's less effective at covering redness. The coverage isn't non-existent, but it feels weaker.

There weren't many reviews on Hwahae, so I was hesitant but bought it on sale. The texture seems suitable for all skin types. It applies thinly and evenly, with a nice balance - not too dry or runny.

It applied smoothly but didn't cover blemishes. Since it spread so easily, it also came off easily. The next day, I noticed some pimples appearing.

The scent was quite strong, reminiscent of applying cosmetics. It had a much thinner consistency than an emulsion. I liked how easily it spread on the skin.

For combination skin, you might need to touch up the T-zone a bit to manage the oil.

It's perfect for a dull complexion. The right amount of richness makes it absorb beautifully.

It's disappointing that it doesn't cover redness or blemishes. After the reformulation, the ingredients seem to have become less favorable.

Compared to other base products, this one applies thinly and feels wonderfully moisturizing. Even after trying various bases, I always end up settling with Laneige's base.

This mint color is great for correcting redness and making skin look clearer. I really dislike the artificial skin-colored tones of bases and foundations, but this one feels like it brightens your natural complexion.

I have oily/combination skin (only forehead and nose get greasy). I don't like wearing makeup because it's not good for my skin. However, I can't give up on sunscreen, so I apply just this after my skincare routine. It's not greasy, doesn't make my skin look dull... and since it's green, it's less noticeable if it gets on clothes or masks. Above all, despite being a sunscreen and base product, it doesn't have bad ingredients and doesn't cause blemishes (which is the best part). It also absorbs well.

The texture is great! It's not overly sticky and doesn't crack. I have skin that's neither too dry nor too oily, and I'm prone to small bumps. One application can brighten your complexion from shade 23 to 21. For lighter than shade 21, you might need two applications.

The downside is the longevity and I wish it could cover the redness a bit more.

I have redness on my cheeks, especially in the winter when the temperature difference outside and the heater make it worse, so a green-tinted base is a must for me. I used to use the Innisfree green-tinted base, but this time I tried the Laneige one, and the price (the lowest at department store websites) is double. But the conclusion is that it's worth the money!
I don't really like matte makeup bases. Over time, they get patchy and emphasize flakiness ㅜㅜ
The texture is on the thinner side and it's moisturizing. It's not overly oily, but more of a dewy finish. The coverage isn't 100% though - to fully cover the redness, you'd need a green-tinted concealer (like Espoir, Marubirutz, etc.). But in terms of moisture vs. covering redness, it does a decent job.

Absolutely against discontinuation... It doesn't look too intense, and the green tint is excellent for neutralizing redness. You can easily go foundation-free by just applying sunscreen and dabbing this lightly on areas with redness.
