It doesn't highlight the parts of the face that you want to stand out, but rather the uneven textures on the face stand out a lot.^^ Even though it's not extremely uneven, since it's not a powder type, the unevenness is still very noticeable, and the caking is really severe. It feels like when there's flakiness on the face and powder is applied on top.

If you have even the slightest uneven texture on your nose, I'd recommend testing it out before purchasing. It seems better to use it on areas with less uneven texture like the cheeks or forehead. Pros
While it's not recommended for the suggested skin type, the liquid formula has a lovely matte base. But the subtle glow is just stunning. As always, you can count on Benefit!
Cons
Since I have larger pores, I find that without a primer, my pores can look clogged. As I'm oily, that may be the reason (just in the nose area).

It's better to apply something to the aegyo sal. There must be better products for the aegyo sal as well.

It was refreshing..? Honestly, there are so many downsides that I can't remember the upsides..;;

First, when I applied it, it was like 'Wow, I'm a highlighter!! It's so strong that at first I couldn't control the amount, so I ended up with a robot nose.. So I had to scoop some out and apply it with a different brush.. And the makeup tends to come off and get patchy, even when I apply foundation on top..it's just weird... I kept using it because I didn't want to waste it, but I just can't take it anymore, so I'm going to throw it away now.. Goodbye Benefit High...Beam.........Bye...Beam..........★

If you do use it, absolutely do not apply it as the last step. I recommend applying it thinly after your base. And if you put anything on top, like foundation, apply that thinly as well. If you apply it thickly, it will just come off...ㅜㅜ

I love Benefit so much ㅜㅜ I recently bought it and got tempted. A small amount is enough, so I'm worried about when I'll finish it.
Cons
After using it for just a few days, the foundation smears on top of my makeup. When I apply it lightly, it looks too natural, almost like my bare skin. If I apply it a bit more heavily, my pores become emphasized. Things like whiteheads? also become more noticeable. If I apply it to areas other than my face, the makeup cakes up ㅠㅠ When will I finish this?😂😂😂

It makes me shine so brightly and look radiant. The finish is great as well.
Cons
Everyone says it's good, but I don't know why the dry parts keep itching and something seems to be slightly rising up? It applies somewhat moisturizing, but when you look closely, there are a lot of clumping parts, and it doesn't seem good for troubled skin.
