I had a long vacation and decided to remove a mole, but unfortunately, I had allergic reactions to both Duoderm and Madecassol... As I have super sensitive skin, I decided to try this product. There are many regenerating creams out there, but as I have oily skin, I was looking for something suitable and ended up choosing the Dermamade Cream! I've heard that when buying a regenerating cream, it's best to go for products high in panthenol, centella asiatica, or cica content. This product is rich in centella asiatica! ✔️ No blemishes I have oily + super sensitive skin. My sensitive skin usually reacts to most products with caution labels, and I even experience itching with Duoderm and Madecassol. However, I used this without any blemishes or itching. In less than a week, I've used about 1/5 of the product! I'm applying it generously to my skin like a sleeping mask at all hours. Even though I couldn't cleanse properly and only washed my face once a day before reapplying, I didn't experience any blemishes. ✔️ Convenient to purchase It's affordable and available on Coupang, I received it the next day. The price is so reasonable that you can use it liberally. During the recovery period, I plan to use only the Dermamade Cream without any other skincare products. ✔️ Great for specific periods Since it can be used as a regenerating cream, it seems perfect for those times when your skin barrier is compromised, after laser treatments, or for other specific purposes. We all have those times once or twice a year when our skin feels damaged, and that's when it would be great to apply this generously. The cream absorbs well, making it ideal for use after mole removal. I was worried that if it had a stiff texture, it might cause scabs to fall off while applying, but it absorbs smoothly, so I've been using it without any concerns.
ConsIt stings a bit. Maybe because I have super sensitive skin, or because I had a mole removed, it does sting. But compared to Duoderm or Madecassol, which caused severe itching, the stinging is actually preferable! There are some ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin. I'm fine with oils as my skin doesn't react to them, but it's a bit disappointing that there are some other potentially allergenic ingredients.
TipIf you have oily skin and experience allergic reactions to Duoderm or Madecassol, this product works well as an alternative.

When I apply it before bed on days when I have blemishes, it seems to calm them down.
ConsWhen my skin condition isn't great, it can feel a bit tingling as it starts to absorb.

ConsThere's a very slight tingling sensation that makes you wonder if your face is getting red, but it actually doesn't

Can't believe it... I bought it after seeing @jipbogu's review, and it's the first time I've purchased something based on an ad. I really had such high expectations...
ConsI even downloaded Hwahae just to read reviews for this. For days now, my skin has been breaking out in hives, tingling, and itching. It's driving me crazy - even as I'm writing this, the itching won't stop... I had such high hopes, but my face has completely flared up. Ugh!
TipMake sure to patch test before purchasing...

And the scent isn't overpowering.
ConsAfter applying it just once, my skin reacted badly with a burning sensation, tingling, and itching. Those with super sensitive skin should be really careful with this one.
TipIf you have sensitive skin, make sure to do a patch test first.

ConsTo be honest, it can sting quite a bit if you use it when your skin is extremely sensitive, but if you can tough it out for that one day, your skin condition improves significantly from the next day onwards

ConsMy previously normal skin became irritated, red, and itchy as soon as I applied this. I turned into a tomato! The tingling was so bad I had to wash it off immediately and apply a different cream, which made it better right away. There must be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious. I envy those who can use it without issues.

Even hours later, my skin doesn't feel dry deep down.
ConsWhile it does tingle a bit, I have super sensitive skin and haven't experienced any adverse reactions so far.

Although I've always had slightly sensitive skin, I've been diligently taking care of it since childhood. I managed to maintain clearer skin than my peers throughout my school years, so this sudden change was quite shocking. To make matters worse, I couldn't even dream of using makeup base products due to my skin's sensitivity, and there were no environmental changes, so I couldn't pinpoint the cause. Still, I couldn't just live with it, so I tried various solutions. I tried dermatological treatments, took medication, and even bought expensive, highly-rated products. If any of them showed even a slight improvement, I'd be grateful. Sometimes, the situation even worsened. I spent money and my face became as bumpy as an uncultivated field - it was truly upsetting. As time passed with no improvement, I started to wonder if this was my new normal. During this struggle, I noticed a few products that didn't make things worse with consistent use. Their main ingredients were aloe and cica. That's when I realized: I'm someone who responds well to tiger grass. Then came a stream of consciousness: Tiger grass - Madecassol - Dongkook Pharmaceutical - Why do they have cosmetics? - Being a pharmaceutical company, they probably won't mess around with ingredients - Add to cart! Amazingly, within a week of using it, my blemishes completely subsided. I still get occasional breakouts, but my skin feels fundamentally healthier. Even when I get wounds, they seem to heal faster, probably due to better hydration. (Curious about this, I actually tested it on red marks on my legs - applying the product to one side and leaving the other untreated. The treated side healed faster!) Since last summer, regardless of the season, I've been using this routine: My usual aloe+cica moisturizer → Madeca ampoule → Madeca cream → My usual moisturizing emulsion Right after application, it feels a bit too wet in summer and occasionally dry in winter, but overall, my skin condition has remained consistently good. [Winter 2021 → August 23, 2023 → August 27, 2023] ---------------------------------
Cons--------------------------------- As someone who benefited greatly, I didn't have many complaints, but a family member mentioned experiencing a tingling sensation after long-term use! When my skin was severely damaged, I also felt a slight stinging and burning sensation. It felt like applying ointment to a wound. Oh! It's not exactly a downside, but rather a slightly inconvenient product characteristic: It feels like it creates a thin film on the skin. This doesn't feel suffocating, but after a day or two, it can make your pillowcase feel slippery. Even when washing your face in the morning, it feels like you're rinsing off snail mucin. ---------------------------------
Tip--------------------------------- In my experience, the Madeca cream itself doesn't provide sufficient hydration. It also felt a bit lacking in moisturizing power. So, I recommend using toner, hydrating cream, and ampoules to thoroughly hydrate your skin before applying this, and finish with a product that can help with moisturization! While I saw improvement in my blemishes, I suspect this was because my skin barrier had broken down for some reason, making it prone to breakouts from minor irritations. If your blemishes are caused by other factors like allergies, hormones, or clogged pores, there's a high chance this might not be as effective. ---------------------------------
