Pros
✔ Skin Type: Dry. Not sensitive and only get a pimple or two before my period. Pore management and blackhead/whitehead control are essential due to enlarged pores on my nose. Have some acne scars and pigmentation. The good points: 1. The texture is soft. The mud clay itself has a high moisture content. It's like a soothing cream. It's not just easy to spread thinly on the face, but it almost applies itself. 2. The texture is moisturizing. Not as moisturizing as a wash-off pack, but still quite moisturizing among wash-off products. After 10 minutes, my forehead and cheeks were still as moisturized as initially, with only a slight tightness around my mouth and nose. 3. The red bean granules are soft. I was shocked at first seeing the granules, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Rubbing them while washing had no irritation at all. When you look at the red bean granules under a microscope, their surface is much smoother and rounder than other scrub granules!
Cons
The downside: 1. Doesn't exfoliate well. The granules lack substance. They're big and rough-looking, but don't actually exfoliate properly. After the wash-off pack, my skin didn't feel as smooth and supple as I'd hoped. 2. Green tint. It leaves a greenish hue, like washing your face with green tea. As time passes, many mud packs tend to crack and make the skin feel extremely taut, but the tea tree mud pack has relatively less of that feeling. The thin-applied areas did show some cracking, but the thicker-applied areas had no cracking at all, and the taut feeling was only slightly noticeable, not completely absent. When applying, the red bean granules spread smoothly without any irritation, and when rinsing it off with lukewarm water, the removal process was fairly easy. After cleansing, the finish feels soft and smooth. The fragrance is quite subtle. It's an unremarkable mud pack.
Cons
Even without manually rolling the red bean granules during cleansing, they naturally get rubbed around during the washing process, which may feel irritating for those with sensitive skin.
