While I loved the original purple bottle, the newly redesigned packaging is absolutely gorgeous too. It's a slightly rich line, perfect for fall and winter use. Despite its richness, the moisturizing formula absorbs well and has a great texture. The best part? It doesn't cause any pilling under makeup!
ConsThose with very oily skin might find it a bit too rich. As someone with combination skin, it works well for me though.

First, the hydration is just right for dry skin - not too light, yet not so rich that it causes pilling. It strikes the perfect balance. The cream also absorbs well, which is great for busy mornings when you don't have time to wait around! The fragrance is the signature subtle floral scent of the Hanran line, which I absolutely adore.
ConsIt would be more convenient if it came in a pump-style container.

I used it successfully in summer, but now that autumn's here, it's a bit too drying for me... I think it's best suited for summer use. The affordable price means I don't feel too disappointed if it doesn't work out. It's likely to be great for those with oily skin!
ConsIn autumn and winter, no matter how much you apply, it's not enough to combat dryness, so a cream is essential. It just can't solve the dry skin issue.
TipFor combination dehydrated skin, it works well as a summer option - it's light and refreshing without being too heavy.

The entire Hanran line seems to have excellent moisturizing properties. You can choose between the emulsion, essence, or cream depending on your skin type. The fragrance is also delightful.
ConsThis is more suitable for those needing deep moisturization rather than those looking for hydration!

I loved how well my makeup adhered after using them. I'm pleased with all of them. I used samples for this review, so please keep that in mind when looking at the photos! Absorption: It absorbs quickly when you pat it in with your hands. Even if you layer it multiple times, each layer absorbs fully into the skin. This means your makeup won't pill. The fast absorption was great for when I was short on time. Hydration: While it didn't feel exceptionally moisturizing, it kept my skin from feeling dry, so I have no complaints. Interestingly, when I apply this product, my skin just looks very hydrated for some reason. It's like there's a glow coming from within - my skin looks great! Scent: It has a floral scent (probably the Hanran flower), which is a bit strong and might be polarizing. I personally liked it, but I recommend checking it out in-store to see if it suits you. (The scent lingers subtly after application.) Other notes: I didn't experience any excess oil production or blemishes. There was zero deep dryness (though I should mention I've never really experienced that before).
ConsPrice: I tend to apply products generously, whether it's an emulsion or toner, but the price of this one makes that a bit challenging. So I'm only using it during my makeup skincare routine. Stickiness: This isn't really a downside. The stickiness isn't severe enough to be bothersome, but it's worth noting that there is a slight sticky feeling.

ConsI'm not sure if it's because I have dry skin, but it doesn't feel as hydrating as I expected. It's not a pump bottle, but rather one you have to tap, which makes it a bit difficult to get the product out.
TipIt works well when applied together with the Hanran Skin!
