Since I have dry skin, I make sure to apply a hydrating moisturizer before makeup to boost hydration.

It seems to darken a bit over time, and if you don't exfoliate well, it can look patchy or settle into fine lines. The coverage isn't exceptional, I'd say it's about medium at best.

As someone who absolutely despises sticky formulas, I was thrilled to discover this cushion while searching for a semi-matte option. I love how it sets to a truly matte finish without any stickiness.

- I recommend applying the foundation by gently gliding the puff across your skin instead of patting it. This increases adherence and actually results in a more even application!
- For those who, like me, experience pilling or separation no matter what, I suggest applying with a brush first, then gently patting with the puff to increase adherence and smooth out the texture. This really helps maximize the good qualities of the Mude foundation!

While it's quite drying for me, it's still a foundation I can't give up on!

- Strangely, I found that the makeup tends to pill and separate on me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not letting my skincare fully absorb before applying, but if any part of my routine from skincare to sunscreen isn't completely absorbed, it not only separates but also pills severely. Because of this, I only use it on days when I have extra time or on weekends!
- After a few hours of wear, I experience severe deep dryness. On days when I forget to bring a mist or oil mist, my skin feels like drying soil... I do have quite dehydrated skin, so that could be part of the issue. However, even with the dryness, it doesn't crack or separate, which is a surprising advantage.

- I don't usually care much about coverage, so for me, the coverage is quite good.
- The staying power is excellent! I rarely touch up my makeup as I feel like I'm just adding more foundation on top of dust, but this one maintains its initial appearance almost all day!
- Occasionally it may pill or break down, but when it does, it does so beautifully... It's amazing how pretty it looks even when it's breaking down. As it wears off, the natural oils from your skin mix with it, creating a subtle glow. Unless there's excessive oil, I usually just leave it as is!
- The puff is incredible! It's so soft and bouncy! The compatibility between the puff and the foundation is top-notch.

While it applies thinly and lightly, I was pleasantly surprised by its ability to thoroughly cover pores and minor blemishes. While I didn't expect high coverage when I purchased it, I found it lacking in concealing my rather prominent dark circles!

I've mostly used cushions with matte formulas, but this one leans more towards the hydrating side without being overly dewy or moisturizing, so it wasn't overwhelming! I bought it after watching a YouTube video recommending it for cool-toned skin. People often tell me I have naturally fair skin, and when I first applied this, it did feel a bit light. However, that initial impression faded, and after a short while, it adjusted nicely to my complexion! Overall, it's a solid, easy-to-use product that I'm quite pleased with!

If I had to nitpick, it might be that it can sometimes transfer a bit onto my mask. But on some days, it doesn't transfer at all - it's a bit hit or miss.

I usually find shade 21 a bit dark, but if it's that kind of darkness that only I know, I'd recommend this. It's a perfect match for my skin tone and makes me look a bit brighter - it's really nice. I'm planning to stick with it.

The name 'Hugger' makes sense once you try it out - it really hugs the skin softly. But the real hero here is the puff. The puff is so soft and nice. Another thing I want to praise is the color! I'm a cool-toned #19, but it looks so radiant and my skin tone looks so pretty. Applying this instead of a concealer covers up imperfections without compromising the skin tone - the skin expression looks much nicer. The color is truly top-notch... The coverage is also better than expected. There's not much darkening, and while there's some transfer and partial lifting due to masks, it's less than other semi-matte cushions. It leaves the skin with a nice, moderate moisture, so it doesn't feel uncomfortable and looks natural. I think this would really shine in the winter or post-COVID times.

Since my skin is quite sensitive, I don't know, but when I used this foundation and looked at my skin the next day, there was something that seemed a bit flushed.

The cool-toned skin tone matches it very well, and the color is bright and beautiful. The finish seems to be powdery.

However, the uneven texture is really severe... I've honestly never seen foundation that accentuates the bumps like this, and the breakdown is truly the worst. It's only pretty right when you first apply it^^
