The 23 shade is actually a bit too light for those with darker skin tones, I think. I'm around 21-22 and it was the right brightness for me, but for regular 23 shade users, it might be too light. As long as you match the color well, it's a great touch-up cushion. But using it alone may vary depending on the individual!

Coverage
The coverage was just right, not too heavy. It didn't completely cover all blemishes, but it provided a nice, natural-looking coverage.

Adherence
The adherence was really good! I want to give a high rating for this aspect. There was hardly any lifting or separation, which I really liked. Especially when I did touch-ups, it just stuck on so well, like when I first applied it!

Longevity
The longevity was about average, I'd say. In my case, when I applied it in the morning, it would start to break down around 3 PM, a bit after lunchtime.

Design
The design was really feminine and had a lovely, unique mood to it. 🤎

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and large pores. Since most reviews mentioned good adhesion and long-lasting coverage, I immediately purchased and used it for about 3 weeks. Even though the cushion doesn't match my skin, luckily there was no irritation. But really... The breakdown is clearly visible over time. The breakdown causes pore clogging... It's no joke. Strangely, it feels oily on the surface but dry inside... I guess it just doesn't suit me... Even when I use it occasionally, I'm disappointed every time. I hope this review helps someone.

Hmm... Correct and within 1 hour? Your face looks radiant. It seems whiter than a typical lake.

 This is a truly golden tip, especially for those with dry skin! Let me share a great skincare routine that will keep your skin hydrated and ready to use the Hwahae cushion:

Cleansing > Aloe Gel > Toner > Emulsion > Mist

Follow this order and apply each step thoroughly. This will keep your skin super moisturized and dewy all day long!

And another tip - if you find the cushion transferring a bit too much on your mask, be sure to use a powder or blush. 

I personally prefer using blush over powder, and the Hwahae cushion applies blush so beautifully without any cakiness. I've been rediscovering my blush collection lately because of this cushion!

Blush is a must, everyone! Please use blush if you're using the Hwahae cushion. It creates such a lovely, natural flush that I almost don't want to share this secret. But I have to - the difference it makes is incredible. 

I'm so ashamed I didn't utilize blush properly before. Time to make up for lost time!

 As for the downsides, there's really not much to point out, as it has been a very satisfactory product. But if I had to highlight something:

For those with dry skin, the semi-matte formula means you'll need to be extra diligent with your skincare routine to maintain the dewy, hydrated look for longer. 

Due to the nature of the formula, it does have a tendency to set to a more powdery finish right away, which is something I wish could be improved, perhaps with a more hydrating version.

As for the shade, since I have a skin tone that tans easily, even the 23 shade can sometimes feel a bit light for me, especially in the summer. I often end up searching for the 24 shade, which is a bit deeper. 
The current 23 shade of the Hwahae cushion may be a bit bright for those with truly deep 23 or 24 skin tones.

For me, as a typical warm-toned 23, it still works beautifully to give a radiant look. But for those who prefer a more natural finish, perhaps a more neutral shade option would be great.

These two points are really the only things I can think of that were slightly less than perfect in my experience. Other than that, I've been using it with immense satisfaction!

 If you pay attention to covering the problem areas, you can use this cushion with high satisfaction. However, if your blemishes are extremely dark, the coverage may not be satisfactory. But with the use of a concealer, you can achieve a beautiful coverage. In my case, by carefully covering the spots, they became blurred, though not completely covered. Of course, over time, the spots become visible again. The coverage really depends on how much effort you put into correcting and touching up.

Longevity and Darkening (Breakdown): After using it for around 6 hours and 12 hours, the longevity is really good. There was some creasing in the fine lines as time passed, but it wasn't severe. Compared to the Bobbi Brown cushion, there was less of a stuffy feeling even after wearing a mask for a long time, and the accentuation of dry patches and fading/darkening was minimal. As the oil slightly surfaced, it had a nice, radiant breakdown. In fact, after 6 hours, people around me commented that my skin looked great, glowing, and healthy. Compared to the cushion I was using before, the darkening aspect is a clear winner with this Hwahae cushion.

Transfer: The cushion seems to transfer quite minimally, similar to the transfer-resistant cushion foundation I was using before, which is known to be one of the best in that regard.

✔️ Due to the moisturizing formula and semi-matte finish, there is some mask transfer
✔️ Can be easily covered with powder 👉 Recommended for under 8 hours of mask wear
✔️ Recommend applying a thin layer of skincare before the cushion cover, which will also make touch-ups easier 👉 Recommended for over 10 hours of mask wear
- Honestly, none of the face products that claim "no transfer" are truly transfer-proof, at best they just transfer less. The same goes for Mude - while it doesn't transfer excessively, there is some inevitable transfer due to the moisturizing application. For jobs like mine where a lot of talking is involved, this can be a sensitive issue! But with powder application, the transfer is not a major concern!!

 🌷 Downsides
✔️ It would have been nice if the puff was available for separate purchase!
✔️ While it's not focused on maximum coverage, there's a slight wish that the adhesion could have been a bit better.

 What a surprise! It applied even more beautifully and broke down nicely... It's truly a versatile product that can express different looks depending on the skincare or skin type♥

🌷 Darkening
✔️ Didn't notice significant darkening
✔️ Heavier skincare application may result in slightly more noticeable darkening, but it's not necessary - the formula applies beautifully even with a lighter skincare routine, so the darkening is barely noticeable!

The only downsides are that the cushion case is a bit thick, and the puff dispenses a lot of product at once, so you have to press it lightly to control the amount. Other than that, I don't have any complaints about the cushion itself. In fact, it's been one of the best cushions I've used lately, so I don't regret purchasing it at all!

I finally found the perfect cushion foundation! I bought the #23 shade since the #21 was sold out, and even though it's a bit too dark for my normal #22 skin tone, I really like it and wanted to leave a review. :)
1. Application
- The application is great. It applies very smoothly and moisturizes well, with a semi-matte finish. It's the type that builds up nicely with just a light layer, so the application is wonderful. It doesn't apply too thickly either, which I'm very satisfied with.
2. Coverage
- The pore and redness coverage is excellent. However, for more stubborn blemishes or dark spots, you may need to layer it a bit more or use a concealer. The pore coverage is impressive, but the overall coverage isn't the highest. If you're looking for full, heavy coverage, this may not be the best, but I'm personally very satisfied with it.
3. Wear and Transfer
- No cushion foundation is completely transfer-proof, but this one transfers less when applied lightly. Adding powder helps minimize transfer even further. If you layer it on thicker or use concealer, it will transfer more. But I didn't experience any noticeable darkening or breakdown. For my combination skin, it wears beautifully - the oily areas look clean and the drier areas have a nice, natural glow. I really value how it wears throughout the day, and it's great for touch-ups too. The way it reapplies is seamless, even if you've developed some flakiness.

Powder application helps it barely transfer onto masks!!

It applies a bit thinly, so it's good to use with a concealer! While some say the coverage is too powdery, I found it to be on the lighter side for my preferences!!

Since the 21st shade was sold out, I ordered the 23rd shade, and as someone with skin similar to the 22nd shade, I found it even better.
The application and adherence are incredibly good.
Even though I have an extremely sensitive skin type, I didn't experience any irritation, and there were 3 potentially allergenic ingredients, so it's a good idea to check that before purchasing.

- After using this, I really struggled with a terrible breakout of cystic acne and had to stop using it
- Not recommended for sensitive, acne-prone skin
- The wear just completely falls apart, it's so messy...

As a long-time fan, I purchased this with high expectations!
