As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm really careful when choosing base makeup products. I've found that products containing 'cica' are definitely trustworthy! Even with daily makeup application, my skin never acts up, so I can confidently enjoy wearing my favorite makeup to my heart's content! The darkening is really severe. Just an hour after applying makeup, the base wears off, leaving patchy, dark areas. When I try to touch up, my skin becomes dry, causing the makeup to look cakey and clump together, resulting in an unattractive complexion. Even for my combination dehydrated skin with excess oil, it looks very cakey. I imagine it would be extremely difficult for those with dry skin to use. Before applying the cushion, if you first use a brightening moisturizer or brightening sunscreen as a base layer, it seems to prevent severe darkening even if it does occur. This method also appears to improve the longevity of the makeup!
