ProsI purchased an item that an influencer was promoting on Instagram.
My skin tone is around shade 24, and it can get as dark as shade 25 in the summer, but I wanted to achieve a brighter complexion in the winter, so I purchased shade 23.
Shade 23 seems to give a radiant look. It's a bit brighter than my natural skin tone, but it blends in well after some time.
When I first apply it, it spreads thinly and evenly, which is quite surprising.
It covers pores and uneven texture well. It focuses more on covering uneven texture rather than providing heavy coverage.
By layering it, it can also conceal blemishes like freckles.
Surprisingly, even after multiple layers and touch-ups, it doesn't look cakey.
Once fully applied, it gives a luminous glow and makes my skin look healthier.
ConsThe above-mentioned benefits are all overshadowed by its major downfall.
I have an oily T-zone with visible pores and whiteheads.
An hour later, I looked at my face and was shocked 🐶.
It made my face look like it was drenched in cooking oil 😢
Of course, I blotted the excess oil and patted it in, but it still broke down within an hour, becoming a complete mess.
My face looked really unnatural.
Moreover, despite the claim that it doesn't transfer onto masks, it transfers tremendously, making the mask look unsightly.
And the packaging is too loud for my liking.
TipThis product is a must-have for those with dry skin.
Those with oily or combination skin should steer clear of it.
To be honest, I was briefly tempted to have dry skin when I first tried it 😢
