Despite being an emulsion with low oil content, I thought it might not provide enough moisture for very dry skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised! It doesn't feel lacking in hydration at all. The fragrance-free formula makes it comfortable to use without any irritation. As I have extremely dry skin, I'm currently using this in combination with facial oils during the winter months.
