I've used products with galactomyces before and they caused terrible blemishes, but this brand's product was fine! I have super sensitive combination skin prone to blemishes, and my skin usually rejects retinol, AHA, BHA, tea tree, and centella asiatica. The fact that this product worked for me suggests its simple formulation or lower concentration of ingredients didn't trigger any breakouts. Galactomyces is said to have exfoliating and brightening effects, and I think I can see a subtle difference. As someone with combination skin, I'm not sure about its moisturizing power, but it seems to provide adequate hydration. It might not be enough for dry skin types, but it could be perfect for combination to oily skin! I tend to use products generously, so the price point is a bit high for me, but I grudgingly continue to use it. You also need to buy a separate spray nozzle (for about $1), and the toner tends to leak a bit from the spray opening. While it sprays in a fine mist, I wish they could improve the leakage issue.
