It feels like there's not much difference between just using aloe vera gel and this product. When my beard was longer, it shaved well like any other product, but for daily shaving of short stubble, it doesn't provide enough skin protection or lubrication. + Additional thoughts - It also tends to cause nicks and irritation

Pros

I switched from Dorco and Gillette shaving gels to this one, and it's honestly the best. You can get a cleaner shave with less product, which is great. Most gels leave a slippery feeling after shaving that only disappears when you rinse with water, but this one doesn't leave any residue and rinses off easily.

Cons

I bought it at PX so I thought it was cheap, but if I had purchased it in a regular store, I might have hesitated due to the price. Still, for those with thick, stubborn hair, I don't think there's a better gel out there.
