It's great for covering pigmentation and pores, so it would be perfect for those with already good skin. When applied thinly with a spatula, it looks incredibly natural.
ConsIf you don't apply it thinly, it can look cakey, especially around the nose! It doesn't cover redness or major blemishes, so a concealer is a must.

The staying power is impressive too.
ConsThe formula feels a bit heavy and seems to sit on my skin... While it's truly good as a budget-friendly option for newcomers, it's not perfect for everyone.

It applies thinly and evenly, and I'm satisfied with the coverage it provides.
ConsThe adherence to the skin could be better. It tends to transfer quite a bit onto masks.

I also tried applying sunscreen (for moisture) and skipping the sunscreen step. I applied it with a brush and also with a sponge puff and spatula. Personally, I felt this foundation was quite hydrating, so skipping the sunscreen or using a more matte and dense sunscreen worked better. Using a sponge felt a bit better than a brush, as it removed some of the excess oil and moisture. The formula is not thick and applies smoothly, so the initial skin finish was quite nice. Considering it's under $7, I was satisfied that they offered both yellow and pink undertone shades. The coverage was decent, and the fragrance was sophisticated without being overpowering. This would be a good foundation recommendation for dry skin types.
ConsIdeally, I prefer a foundation with moderate coverage, good longevity and adhesion, and a slightly drier finish. If it weren't for the current mask-wearing climate or if I had tried this in the winter, I may have rated it higher. However, in the current season, I didn't feel it had great longevity or adhesion. Even with powder, it remained quite dewy, and it seemed to wipe off easily. Although I'm generally satisfied with most products I use, the current discounted price doesn't make me feel a strong urge to stock up on this. It's possible my evaluation could change if I tried it in the fall or winter after the pandemic.
TipI like to mix this foundation with a long-wearing, slightly tacky concealer. The shade I purchased ended up being a bit too dark for me, so I mix it with the lighter Peripera concealer in shade 1 to improve the color match, adhesion, coverage, and longevity. Skipping the soothing cream step in my skincare routine also seemed to reduce some of the transfer.
