I bought this oil-free skin emulsion because I was concerned about my pores. While it feels a bit dry after application, it's gentle and I like it. It feels dry unless you apply multiple layers, and it's on the pricier side. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2024
I came back to this product after 3 years because my blemishes got worse this summer. It seems oil-free products are indeed the best for super sensitive skin! My skin, which used to get irritated by everything, is finally calming down. The amount you get for the price is always a bit disappointing. But at least they haven't increased the price, so that's okay. - by********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessApr 19, 2024
After applying, I didn't experience any tingling or blemishes. I haven't used it extensively yet, so I can't say for certain about its effects. It doesn't seem to address the dullness of my skin. I think I'll need to use it more to really tell. - ga******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2024
This is my go-to product. It works great for my combination skin without drying it out. In winter, applying the Aqua version helps maintain better hydration. I wouldn't recommend the sunscreen as it's too matte. - da**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 20, 2024
Years ago, when my skin was in turmoil, I visited a dermatologist who told me, 'You have an oil allergy. Not just for hair oils, but if you apply any oils to your skin, you'll keep having these reactions.' Back then, it was a struggle to find oil-free cosmetics, which weren't common. That's when Sabaviàn became my beacon of hope. I've tried the entire Sabaviàn line, but this skin emulsion is the one I've used the most. At first, it stung so much that I reached out to them. They explained it was because my skin barrier was compromised. After a month of use, the stinging completely disappeared, my skin felt hydrated, and I didn't experience any blemishes... It's truly amazing! As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, the entire Sabaviàn line works wonders for me. The price is the only downside, but I can feel my skin improving so much that it's worth it. When you purchase Sabaviàn products, they provide a variety of gratis samples. If you specify in the order notes which samples you'd like, they usually accommodate your request. I think this is a really nice touch. - ac********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJan 15, 2024
It's a basic toner. Looking at the ingredients, it's pretty standard and unremarkable. Considering the ingredients, the volume, and the price, it's way too expensive. They really need to adjust their pricing. - ji*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2022
I've been using this product for over a decade. It's fantastic for maintaining my skin's basic condition when I adjust the amount based on the season and my skin's needs. Even when my skin is super sensitive, I can use this product with confidence. Since it moisturizes with sugar-based ingredients, it can feel a bit sticky if you apply multiple layers. - fo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2022
I was surprised by its watery texture - is this really an emulsion? But it's truly amazing. It provides basic skincare without any dryness. You can combine your toner and emulsion steps into one. I love how it fills my skin with hydration without any tightness. You'll still need to apply a cream. While it hydrates well, it doesn't provide enough moisture on its own. It works well when used alongside Savvian cleansers or soaps. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2022
I've been using this for about 4 years consistently, starting when my skin was in terrible condition. After experiencing a severe rebound from steroid ointments, nothing seemed to work for my newly sensitive skin. Everything I applied caused pain and irritation, making my skin worse. But this product was the only one that suited me perfectly. I personally recommend it for those dealing with steroid rebound or severely compromised skin, especially when your skin feels tight after cleansing with water and gets worse when applying oily products. I wouldn't really recommend this for those with normally good skin. People with weak and problematic skin tend to use new products while praying nothing goes wrong. The best feature of this product is that it doesn't cause any negative changes to your skin compared to the day before. However, the quantity and price might not be worth it for those with healthy skin looking for positive changes. Still, it does give a clearer feeling compared to using oily skincare products. Don't squeeze out a lot and use it all at once. Instead, use a dropper - five drops in winter and three drops in summer should be enough. Applying more doesn't necessarily make it more effective. - al*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2022
I discovered this product when my previously clear face suddenly erupted with tiny, pus-filled blemishes, leaving my skin dry yet oily. It turned out to be the solution I needed. The concept is that it encourages your skin to work on its own, helping it return to a healthy state. While its watery texture makes application a bit tricky as it tends to run, gently patting it in allows for just the right amount of absorption. As time passes, it impressively balances with my skin's natural oils. There's not much to complain about, though initially you might feel some discomfort like dead skin cells and tightness. It works well when used alongside other Sabbatical products. For optimal results, carefully coordinate your use of sunscreen, makeup, and post-makeup cleansing with other products in your routine.
