The best part? No makeup pilling! I used to go through about five bottles of Cel** sunscreen, but after they reformulated, my makeup would start separating and rubbing off around my chin by lunchtime. I thought maybe I was brushing my teeth too vigorously! Turns out it was the inorganic UV filters causing the issue. So I switched to the Dokdo sunscreen, and wow - my makeup stays put, no more rubbing off around the chin. It's a game-changer, I'm over the moon!
ConsAfter a few hours, my eyes start to feel irritated. It doesn't sting right after application, but 3-4 hours later, my eyes get so irritated they water.
TipI believe this product uses organic UV filters. If you're like me and have had issues with sunscreens containing both organic and inorganic filters, you might find this one works better for you.

ConsThe stinging sensation around my eyes is unbearable! I can't apply it anywhere near my eye area due to the intense tingling.

ConsIt causes redness on my face and after cleansing, my skin itches for several days.

It's a gentle sunscreen, which I really appreciated.
ConsHowever, it seems to cause severe eye irritation. About 1-2 hours after applying it around my eyes, they start stinging and it becomes quite uncomfortable.

It has a nice, lightweight texture.
ConsI noticed many comments mentioning eye irritation, but I thought I'd be fine. However, about 2 hours after application, my eyes started stinging so badly I was tearing up. It's really hard to endure this sensation.

ConsI've recently switched to a few new skincare products, and this sunscreen is one of them! Unfortunately, I've noticed tiny bumps appearing around my nose, forehead, and chin areas, and it's slightly itchy too. I've stopped using the sunscreen while continuing with my other products, and things seem to be improving, so I suspect this might be the culprit! After about two weeks of testing, it's clear that this sunscreen was indeed the problem. I've immediately switched to a mineral sunscreen... Although I've used both chemical and mineral sunscreens before, this experience has made me hesitant to buy chemical sunscreens in the future.
TipI recommend testing it out before purchasing. While the Dokdo line is known for being gentle, some people's skin just doesn't agree with it (skin can be as picky as personal preferences!). It's best to test it first before committing to a purchase.

Thanks to this, I've developed a habit of checking product ingredients before buying.
Cons• My eyes sting so much. I didn't even apply it to my eyelids, but just gently patting the residue on my hands onto my eyelids caused stinging all day long. • It's supposed to be okay for acne-prone skin, but it's definitely not okay. It causes a ton of blemishes. For the first time ever, I got acne along my lip line after using this. When I applied it to my face, it caused acne, so I tried using it on my neck to not waste it, and then I got acne on my neck too. LOL

I even use the sunscreen, and I must say the absorption is quite good!
ConsAfter using it, I experienced a slight tingling sensation on my skin. It's not extremely itchy, but there's this subtle, intermittent feeling of irritation on my face. I'm not sure if it doesn't suit my skin, but I'm still using it for now.

I'm quite particular about sunscreens since I have sensitive skin, and I've tried pretty much every affordable and high-end option out there. This sunscreen has a texture that's somewhere between a gel-type moisturizer and a regular cream, with no noticeable scent. The absorption is excellent - it sinks right into the skin even with multiple layers, feeling more like a hydrating moisturizer than a sunscreen. After application, there's an interesting sensation where it feels moisturizing deep down, but with a slight richness on the surface, so I'd lightly pat some powder over it when using it alone. It doesn't correct skin texture or brighten the complexion, which actually makes it easier and cleaner to apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation afterwards. The convenience of it being washable is a plus, as you can remove it thoroughly without necessarily needing cleansing oil. I think the best feature of this product is how well it absorbs. Unlike other sunscreens that scream 'I'm sunscreen!' when you use them, this one goes on incredibly smooth.
ConsThe amount feels a bit on the smaller side. By afternoon, my skin starts to feel slightly tingly, and surprisingly, there was some eye irritation. While the skin feels comfortable, there is still a bit of richness to it.

I'm GodBatPark, and I'm thrilled to share my review of the Dokdo Sunscreen, thanks to the opportunity provided by The Hwahae Testers. Let's dive right in! When applying, it felt like I was putting on an emulsion. What I particularly loved was the minimal white cast, which was a big plus for me. As a student, I applied it before heading to school and academy, and I checked its condition after about 12 hours. To my surprise, there was only a minimal amount of oil on my nose. It wasn't that unpleasant, sticky kind of oil, but rather a clean-feeling one... Of course, it's not actually 'clean oil', but that's how it felt. One of the things I really appreciated was that I only needed to cleanse once to remove it! As someone who suffers from extreme laziness, this feature was a godsend. Overall, I found it quite suitable for daily, casual use.
ConsThe downside was... when I used it for the second time, I noticed some blemishes on my face. They were slightly red and itchy... While it wasn't as severe as hives, it was still bothersome.
