You might as well consider the color payoff to be almost non-existent. It's more like a lip balm that adds a bit of life to your lips, rather than something you'd use to apply actual color.

If you're going duty-free shopping, grab several as gifts. From my experience giving lip products from Dior, Fresh, Clarins, and Guerlain, Guerlain was the most appreciated.

It's clearly a copy of Lip Glow. The case looks a bit dated, perhaps catering to Guerlain's older customer base.

It's identical to Dior's Lip Glow. However, the texture is slightly firmer, which makes application smoother and neater - a definite plus. Besides Morning Rose, I've used Crazy Bouquet (red) and Peach Party, and they're all moisturizing, clean-feeling, and have great color payoff. I usually get bored with lip products before finishing them, but I've used up all of these Guerlain ones.

The price, the price, the price..!! And the design is a bit outdated ㅠㅠ Since it's Guerlain, there's not much that can be done about it ㅠㅠ

If you just toss it in your pocket, it'll wear out quickly and you'll have to buy a new one. Also, if you apply it too firmly, the base of the stick can get bent. You have to apply it gently.

•The cap on the case comes off too easily. I often put it in my pocket and the cap ends up coming open sometimes.
•The product itself is just kind of stuck in the tube without any kind of support, like a MAC lipstick has. It's softer than a regular lipstick, so if you apply it too vigorously, it can get bent and stick to the sides of the case. In the summer, if I put it in my pocket and then apply it, it feels like it might get squished.

•It's almost transparent and the color payoff is really natural. It has a pink tint but with an opacity of around 10%. It's great to wear when you're not wearing much makeup, and these days when I'm wearing a mask, it's perfect because it doesn't look too heavy on the lips.

Applying the lip balm before putting on lipstick helps calm down and soften any flaky lips. I recommend applying the lip balm, waiting 5-10 minutes, then gently blotting it before applying the lipstick. This helps the lipstick go on smoothly and keeps my lips feeling moisturized.

Since it's a lip balm, it tends to melt and get deformed when in warmer environments, which makes it inconvenient to use. I'm not sure if others have the same experience, but that's what happened to me.

The moisturizing, nourishing, and rose-scented formula is wonderful~
It glides on smoothly and leaves a delicate, natural-looking color that makes my lips look healthy and vibrant! The wide range of shades also makes it easy to find the perfect color for my skin tone. I especially love the softest pink shade, #371, it's my favorite.

Personally, I like to apply a water tint first, let it stain my lips, and then lightly apply this on top. It gives a really pretty glossy finish and decent hydration, so my lips stay smooth and moisturized even in the dry seasons. ^.^

The hydrating power is a bit less compared to more typical lip balms like Bioderma or Uriage.
And since it's not fragrance-free, it might not be suitable for those who are very sensitive to scents or don't like the rose fragrance.
It's also not recommended for those who are strictly against any tint in their lip balms. (But the color payoff is really quite subtle, just a barely-there kind of thing)

I don't really like artificial scents and I absolutely hate fragrances that give me a headache, but this has a really pleasant rose scent that puts me in a good mood whenever I apply it. ㅎㅎ

The actual functionality as a lip balm was lacking. My lips quickly became dry and flaky, but this lip balm was of no help to me at all.

The subtle rose scent and the beautiful case were pleasing to me. When applied, the color is almost odorless.

The only downside was that the scent was a bit too strong for me since I'm sensitive to fragrances, so that was a bit disappointing.

This is the most moisturizing and smoothest lip balm I've ever used, and I ended up buying it again after using it all up. It was great to use before bed or before applying lipstick.
