Use a generous tablespoon. Add about 1/5 water and chill.
When applying to the edges and outer areas, make sure to apply a thick layer to avoid flaking when removing. I recommend masking for only 20 minutes and then peeling it off. If you leave it on for longer than 20 minutes, it starts to flake and turn white. Keeping it on for more than 20 minutes might actually make your skin feel dehydrated.

Once it dries, it turns white and doesn't peel off in one piece, which is inconvenient. Some other products come off in one go without leaving residue, but this one... always leaves white flakes when it's fully dry, which is a bit disappointing. It's a bit of a struggle to remove the flakes from the skin.

However, if you're looking to brighten and lighten your skin, I'd recommend the Vitamin version. It doesn't exfoliate very well when I try to remove dead skin cells. The application can be a bit tricky! Other than that, everything else is great.
