I have a cool undertone, around shade 22-23. At the Sephora store, I tried both shade 20 and 30 on half my face each. After about 5 minutes, the colors settled a bit, and shade 30 looked more natural on my skin, so I went with that one. (I prefer a natural look with just a hint of brightening.) Most foundations I've used before tended to cause deep dryness and blemishes (like Banila Co Covericious, YSL All Hours, Estée Lauder Double Wear, etc.). I thought maybe foundation just wasn't for my skin. But this one didn't cause any blemishes or deep dryness at all! (And I didn't even use an extensive skincare routine beforehand!) I have prominent pores in my T-zone, but what I love most is how well it covers them. Just a few swipes with a foundation brush, and they're concealed. Amazing! The staff explained it's a tinted moisturizer with good coverage for its type, and they weren't kidding! The finish is about semi-matte, I'd say. There are no cons, so let me add a few more pros. Although it's marketed as a tinted moisturizer, its coverage is just as good as a foundation. The way it feels comfortable on the skin... As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I think I'll be sticking with this from now on.
