  Pros

  I'm writing this review based on my experience with very dry, atopic, and super sensitive skin. Among the Chaga Rest line, the essence toner was my favorite! It's perfectly clean, hydrating, and not sticky, making it ideal as the first step in my skincare routine.

  Cons

  I can't think of any significant drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, maybe the scent...? It might be a bit polarizing for some people...

  True to its name as an essence toner, it has a slight viscosity that makes it perfect for patting into the skin with your hands. It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness!

  Cons

  While it's not unscented, the subtle fragrance isn't particularly pleasant.

  Tip

  Among the toner, serum, and cream from the same line, this one is my favorite.

  When I first used it, the hydration was decent and the finish wasn't sticky, so the overall experience was really pleasant. The scent was also milder than I had worried about!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, the very next day after using it, I started to notice some blemishes appearing. I immediately stopped using the product.

  It's incredibly hydrating. I love how it's not sticky at all and feels so refreshing on the skin.

  Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the scent. Because of that, I probably won't repurchase it.

  I'd recommend this to people who aren't sensitive to fragrances. It's great for use during summer.

  This is my first time trying a Labcos product. The Chaga Rest Essence Toner isn't just a regular toner - it's an essence toner with a slightly thicker consistency. I usually prefer watery toners since sticky formulas tend to cause blemishes for me. However, this Chaga Rest Essence Toner doesn't feel sticky at all. It absorbs well into the skin, which is great. I've heard that chaga mushroom is excellent for improving skin elasticity deep down. I'd recommend using this as part of your hydration routine, or even as a daily mask if you're feeling fancy!

  Cons

  I experienced a slight tingling sensation when I first used it. This might be due to my super sensitive skin. Fortunately, my skin looked fine the next morning.

  Tip

  I think it would work wonderfully if you soak your regular thin cotton pads generously with this toner and use it as a daily mask routine.

  The texture has a slight viscosity. It's rich and dense, providing excellent hydration. Personally, I don't usually prefer this type, but the oil and moisture balance is so well-balanced that it feels pleasantly firm without being sticky. It might work great as a standalone product in summer.
