The color is beautiful and the scent seems lovely. It doesn't really smell like oranges or Southeast Asian aromatherapy as I expected. To me, it has more of a woody scent. It's not like the typical wood fragrances in other perfumes, but rather reminds me of being in a sauna made from strong, aromatic wood - perhaps pine-like (though not exactly pine). It's the kind of scent you might encounter when stepping into a wooden sauna and inhaling deeply. I think it could be quite soothing to smell occasionally. Whether it's because of the color or not, the fragrance really feels like it could come from something orange or brown.
ConsWhile the scent is nice, I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell like soap or like Lush's Karma fragrance. It seems to have a soapy base scent mixed in, occasionally smelling like actual soap (not a perfume imitating soap). Or maybe this is just how Karma is supposed to smell? I haven't tried Karma yet, so I bought this soap as a test before getting the perfume. I was torn between the soap and the solid perfume, but now I'm even more confused. If this is indeed the Karma scent, I might try other Karma products. The lather doesn't last very long and doesn't feel very rich. Most importantly, it stains my shower towel orange. I wish the deep orange color came mostly from gardenia extract, but it seems to be from artificial coloring.
TipIt lathers surprisingly well with a shower puff, but unlike shower gel, the bubbles disappear quickly!
