  It absorbs well and provides great coverage. Among stick foundations, it's on the more hydrating side.

  Pros

  Decent coverage I'm using it with a brush, and it provides adequate coverage for most blemishes. While using a concealer would be better, you can skip it without it being too noticeable. It even covers redness well. My skin isn't particularly great, but I'm pleased with how well it covers imperfections! The way it fades is beautiful It doesn't settle or clump in areas prone to creasing, like around the nose! When it does fade, there's no darkening, and it's easy to touch up and restore to its original state.

  Blemishes explode if not removed properly... This seems more severe than usual? It feels like breakouts are more intense compared to other products I've used. + Not recommended if you can't remove your makeup for extended periods (over 8 hours). Hygiene concerns Like all stick foundations, there are hygiene worries if you're not diligent about keeping it and your brush clean. + I thought the inner transparent cap was useless and threw it away... How foolish of me...

  Since I have a darker complexion, I found the coverage to be really good

  I've never had acne even as I approach 30, but after using this, I experienced sensitive skin breakouts for the first time and had to visit a dermatologist. I intentionally bought a stick foundation darker than my skin tone to use for contouring (under the cheeks and on the sides) to make my face look slimmer. However, after using it for a month or two, I started getting late-onset acne. My skin type isn't particularly sensitive, it's slightly dry, and I've never had blemishes from any cosmetics before. This product really didn't agree with my skin at all

  This foundation is unlike anything I've tried before. I rarely wear makeup and prefer a natural look with just BB cream, but I still wanted to cover my freckles a bit. This product is perfect for that. I don't apply it all over my face, just lightly on areas with freckles, the bridge of my nose, between my eyebrows, and forehead. It provides moisturizing coverage that allows for a natural-looking complexion.

  Cons

  There's nothing to complain about. I hope they continue to release great products like this and don't discontinue it.

  Tip

  While using a foundation brush works well, for those who don't wear much makeup like me, you can achieve a really natural look by gently dabbing a small amount on your skin with your fingertips, then blending it out with a puff using light tapping motions.

  Pros

  The stick format makes it convenient to apply by simply gliding it across your face. It also offers good coverage.

  Cons

  It doesn't break down much, but when applied to the skin, it feels heavy, uncomfortable, and suffocating. The Make Up For Ever foundation is really disappointing considering its price. I think the Etude Double Lasting foundation suits me better.

  It was really convenient to use. I was quite concerned about hygiene since it's a stick format, but when you open the cap, there's an additional small plastic cover, which I found really reassuring. Most importantly, the coverage - which is a crucial factor for me - was satisfactory. While I still use concealer for larger blemishes, it covered other imperfections well enough. I have extremely dry skin, but I've never felt that this product was drying. Lastly, regarding longevity, I can't give a definitive answer as it's entirely subjective in my case, since I always touch up with powder throughout the day.

  Pros

  I've been using cushions and BB creams, but about 3 months ago, I tried this foundation for the first time, and I think I'll stick with it from now on. The coverage and lasting power are both excellent. If you control the amount well, it covers thinly and naturally, making your skin texture look great. The pore coverage is really good too. I haven't had to touch up my makeup once in over 3 months of use. I've been using it from the height of summer to now in the dry, cold season. It applies with a slightly moisturizing feel but finishes semi-matte, so with just a bit of attention to skincare, you can use it without any dryness in this weather. I started with a sponge, but then invested in a Make Up For Ever brush, and the combination is absolutely amazing - I highly recommend it! I got color-matched at the store, and the shade is a beautiful ivory that's neither too yellow nor too red. It doesn't seem to run out quickly either, so the amount should last quite a while.

  Cons

  Since it's a stick foundation that you apply directly to your skin, it can collect dust easily. I occasionally wipe the surface with a tissue or use tape to clean it. After a few months of use, the outer cap has become a bit loose and comes off easily. In terms of performance, it works perfectly for me without any downsides. If I had to mention something inconvenient, it would be that you need to make sure to close the inner cap tightly.

  Tip

  I've tried using sponges and my hands, but nothing beats the Make Up For Ever brush. I highly recommend pairing it with that brush! Instead of swiping, try dabbing the foundation on your face in small dots and then blending. This way, you can even out your complexion without applying it too thick.
