The subtle and uplifting lime scent is delightful. It's almost identical to the aroma of a Chupa Chups lime lollipop. There's a hint of shimmer that makes it unique and pretty, though it's not noticeable once applied to the lips. The packaging is also incredibly attractive. Unlike typical lip balms, this one is extremely hard and not soft at all. It doesn't melt easily with body heat, and the amount is too small to scoop out with your fingernail. Even when you manage to apply it by rubbing vigorously, it feels like you're not really applying anything. Moreover, the price is too high for the quantity you get. For regular lip balms, Burt's Bees seems to be the best, while Laneige takes the crown for lip masks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2022
I really appreciate how Lush prioritizes animal welfare and environmental concerns! The fragrance is lovely, the packaging is appealing, and when I apply it before bed, it provides excellent hydration! However, perhaps due to its eco-friendly nature, the shelf life seems a bit short, and it tends to solidify quickly over time. Since it's a product that needs to be melted with your hands, I'm slightly concerned about hygiene issues. - eh*******Normal SkinFeb 20, 2022
The adorable case and the zesty lime scent are absolutely delightful! The hydration is decent, nothing extraordinary but satisfactory. I love the fragrance so much that applying it instantly lifts my mood! It's quite glittery, so it's not ideal for generous application. I tend to apply it in thin layers. While the product isn't terrible, I feel there are better lip balms available at a similar price point, so I won't be repurchasing. This isn't exactly a tip, but applying it with your fingers leaves glitter residue, which isn't great. I frequently apply it using a mini lip brush instead. - hy******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2021
The pleasant fragrance and lack of significant irritation are definite advantages. Since it's colorless, I mainly use it before bed. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it, which makes me occasionally question why I bought it, especially considering its high price tag. - od*******Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 25, 2020
I got this at half price with a 50% discount from Lush! The most satisfying aspect was the scent - it has a fresh and sweet lime fragrance. Of course, scent is subjective and can be hit or miss, but I really liked it. While it might not provide enough hydration for everyday use, I find that applying it generously several times before bed leaves my lips feeling silky smooth when I wake up. It's not particularly moisturizing. I have very dry lips, and they quickly become dehydrated when I use this. I knew it contained shimmer when I bought it, but there's more silver glitter than I expected, and it's quite noticeable when applied. Some people might like the shimmer, but personally, I'm not a fan... You can purchase this at 50% off during Lush's Fresh Sale period! - i_*****Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2020
My current top pick for lip balm. As a lip balm enthusiast, I've tried countless options, but this is the only one I carry when I go out these days. The scent is so lovely that I find myself wanting to apply it constantly, which has actually helped me develop a good lip care routine! The shimmer particles, the fact that it's not matte, the green color (personal preference), and the Lush price point. I'll try a different one next time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 20, 2020
As someone whose lips weren't in terrible condition to begin with, I chose this green lip balm solely for its scent. When applied thinly in multiple layers before bed, it keeps my lips reasonably moisturized until morning. The fragrance is absolutely my cup of tea - it's like a blend of herbs and lemon, which I adore. As you can see in the photo, it has a bit of shimmer. While this might not appeal to everyone, I personally don't notice it much when applied. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure if it actually helps with dead skin cells as claimed. Even when I slather it on generously at night, while it does keep my lips hydrated, I can't say for certain if it's effectively managing dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 2, 2020
Pleasant scent. That's about the only good thing, but they want me to fill 20 characters somehow. A store clerk recommended this as good for men, but it's got shimmer and color in it. Green, of all things. Looks like I smeared kiwi jam from an Isaac Toast on my face. The hydration is lousy too. - la*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 30, 2019
The lime and sweet lemon scent is so uplifting every time I smell it! If you're a fan of citrus fragrances, you'll likely love this. The sorbet-like texture melts easily in your hands and glides on your lips like oil. It's more of an essential moisturizing lip balm rather than an exfoliating one. My lips were in poor condition for a while, but they improved after using this. Above all, the color of the lip balm is absolutely gorgeous! There's some mysterious shimmer in it, which makes me question if it was really necessary. However, it's not a major drawback. Plus, the price... 17,000 won seems quite steep, but I suppose that's the Lush brand premium. I gently melt a layer onto my lips before bed, and before applying makeup, I dab it on and then apply a matte lipstick over it. This creates a look with a matte exterior and moisturized interior.
