It gets absorbed instantly however a single layer doesn't satiate my skin's greed for moisture. So I enjoy letting it marinate longer as a toner mask. The formulation contains low concentrations of exfoliating agents so it's quite gentle. I like the charge of moisture it delivers, not sure if I note much exfoliation going on though.
