I love the floral scent. Despite its thick consistency, it absorbs quickly into the skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, this functional product didn't agree with me. I had to stop using it due to deep dryness, tingling sensation, and blemishes. - me******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I've been using this consistently for over 2 years. It's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin, leaving it hydrated and smooth. The fragrance is also delightful. There are absolutely no downsides. The only thing that might make you hesitate is the price... - ja*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2025
Application: Glides on smoothly with a sleek gel-like texture. Absorption: Effectively smooths out dead skin cells on the surface, though it doesn't absorb instantly. Causes a slight burning sensation and tingling every time I use it! Not recommended for dry skin. - ha******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 18, 2025
I bought this in my early 20s but only started using it in my late 20s. I wanted to try some anti-aging products as I approached 30. Although it's a toner, it has a runny, mucus-like texture that feels slightly rich. However, it absorbs well into the skin. Once absorbed, it leaves no oily residue and feels refreshing. I layer it twice, and it doesn't feel heavy at all. If you have oily skin, this might cause blemishes as it feels quite rich. It might be difficult to use in the height of summer. Best to avoid using in summer. - ip******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 16, 2025
It feels refreshing and my skin texture has become smoother. The absorption rate is quite fast. I'm satisfied with everything except the price... I've been using it consistently since my late 20s. - ky*****Combination SkinRednessRecommendedDec 22, 2024
It provides great hydration and I'm using it without any blemishes. I find it works better when applied in the evening. When I apply it in the morning, it seems to pill a little, so that's a bit disappointing. - ai*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessNov 11, 2024
Used a deluxe sample While purchasing Dior skincare, I tried the essence emulsion that came in the Capture Totale pouch. It's decent as an anti-aging skin treatment, but I'm not a fan of the typical viscosity of essence emulsions, so I used it for a bit and then gave it to my mom. On the positive side, it's hydrating, but alternatively, it feels like it makes the skin sticky and tacky. I think it would be great for those with dry skin. Most high-end brand basic skincare products seem to focus on dry skin types. I was disappointed that I couldn't use the product due to its viscosity, and I think the serum and cream from Capture Totale are the best in the line. - bk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2024
It absorbs nicely with just the right amount of moisture, making it perfect for applying makeup! No sticky feeling at all! The price is extremely high... Occasionally, it can feel a bit warm on the skin. - do********Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 2, 2024
You can use this as a substitute for toner and emulsion. I loved that I could apply it up to the sunscreen step, go about my activities, then wipe it off with a cotton pad before starting my makeup routine. It's great because it prevents makeup from pilling. There is a slight stickiness to it. As for the rest, it's just average, nothing particularly special. - ch**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2024
*Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive skin I only knew Dior for their fragrances, but this was my first encounter with their skincare. The texture is between a transparent serum and an ampoule. For my oily (combination dehydrated) skin, it takes a while to absorb and feels a bit sticky at first. (It's fine once fully absorbed, though.) But... it's too hot to wait that long. Wondering if it was just me, I applied some on my younger brother, and surprisingly, he loved the scent. Unfortunately, I broke out with blemishes the very next day after using it, so I've lost any intention of repurchasing.
