Suitable for oily skin Do you know about Innisfree's yellow sunscreen for oily skin? It got reformulated and changed so much that I ended up trying this Mild Cica Mineral Sunscreen while looking for a replacement. It's a mineral sunscreen with great ingredients that gives a strong protective feeling on the skin. Thanks to its good ingredients, it's fine to apply even when your skin is super sensitive. Just make sure to cleanse thoroughly. However, it couldn't quite replace that yellow one...
Cons1. There's some white cast, and it feels like it's clogging pores, which might actually increase oil production. Also, it feels like you really need to cleanse meticulously to remove it completely. 2. It doesn't seem to absorb as well, so makeup doesn't adhere as nicely. 3. I've been using Innisfree products consistently and satisfactorily since Yoona was their model. But when Innisfree changed their logo and model, they completely reformulated everything. Since then, the product quality just isn't the same... These days, I'm trying other brands with good ingredients from Olive Young, as that unique feeling of trust in Innisfree is completely gone.
TipIf you're a fan of mineral sunscreens or really want to try this one, maybe wait for a buy-one-get-one-free sale...? That might be the better option.

Plus, it's not overly sensitive on the skin, which is a bonus.
ConsThe price is quite steep, and it takes too long to absorb into the skin.
TipMake sure to apply a cream that absorbs well before using this! Otherwise, it might take a while to sink in.

Not greasy I usually use sunscreen as a makeup base. The previous sunscreen I used was extremely oily, and after a while, it would break down with oil dripping everywhere. Since switching to this sunscreen, it's definitely less of an issue. 2. Texture The previous sunscreen I used was so thick it was unpleasant to apply, but this product is neither too runny nor too thick. It has a nice consistency like an emulsion, making it super easy to apply smoothly. 3. Hydration Surprisingly, I didn't feel any dryness! While I didn't necessarily feel extra hydration, the fact that it wasn't drying was satisfying enough. Maybe it's because I have combination dehydrated skin and focus on a solid skincare routine? Seeing other reviews mentioning dryness, I think if you layer your skincare well, it shouldn't be a problem! (Of course, it's less hydrating than Dr. X products) 4. Blemishes Zero blemishes! I even worked out wearing this and didn't break out at all. It's super gentle on the skin.
Cons1. White cast I can't believe how severe the white cast is even when applying a small amount. One morning, while rushing to get ready for work, I quickly applied the sunscreen without looking in the mirror. When I went to apply my cushion foundation, I was shocked to see a white ghost staring back at me! It might be good for brightening, but the tone-up effect was much stronger than I expected. 2. Absorption It doesn't absorb as well as I thought. While I was satisfied with how easily it spreads, a critical drawback is that it doesn't absorb well. I tried my best to get it to sink into my skin, but it just sits on top, leaving a white cast. 3. Cleansing Wow, you absolutely need to use oil + foam cleansing to thoroughly remove this. Previous sunscreens I used could be removed with just foam cleansing, but this one seems to cling strongly to the skin. If you don't remove it properly, you'll find traces of unremoved sunscreen between your eyes and nose. Thankfully, it doesn't cause any blemishes, at least.

The white cast actually has a brightening effect on my face, making it look more radiant.
ConsDue to the nature of mineral sunscreens, it doesn't absorb well, which can interfere with makeup application. In winter, you need to moisturize thoroughly before applying to prevent pilling.

It's perfect for neutralizing redness and yellow undertones. - Mild and smooth application. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies beautifully. - Gentle and non-irritating. It doesn't cause skin reactions or sting the eyes after application.
Cons- As expected with mineral sunscreens, it takes a bit longer to absorb into the skin. You need to blend it well for even coverage.

While I love everything about Innisfree, they discontinue products too quickly! I first tried this as a sample, and it was exactly what I'd been looking for. I have acne-prone, super sensitive skin, and while mineral sunscreens are less irritating, they often increase sebum production on oily skin. I didn't realize this until I tried other mineral sunscreens after my usual one was discontinued. They caused increased oil production and clogged pores, leading to constant blemishes. I ended up tossing half-used bottles repeatedly. I tried chemical sunscreens, but while they didn't cause breakouts, they irritated my eyes and made my skin tingle. I was using them reluctantly until I discovered this product. Here are its advantages: 1. No eye irritation 2. Applies smoothly 3. Leaves a matte finish 4. Evens skin tone well 5. Controls oil (caution for dry skin types) 6. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't irritate the skin. Despite sunscreens typically having some irritating ingredients, I didn't feel any irritation at all. 7. Doesn't clog pores. This was my biggest concern as I have oily, large-pored skin, but this product works well for me.
ConsThese aren't necessarily drawbacks or areas for improvement, but rather points to consider for potential users: 1. It does leave a white cast. However, I like the natural brightening effect. With just a light dab of foundation on top, my complexion looks radiant quickly. 2. It can be drying. I have very oily skin, but I'm actually combination dehydrated. I apply a moisturizer before the sunscreen, so I don't notice the drying effect much. 3. It doesn't absorb well. When I first applied it, I was shocked by how white it made my skin look! Because it doesn't absorb quickly, even a small amount can make your skin look very white. I apply it in small amounts, layering it multiple times, and pat it in thoroughly to prevent it from looking too white.
TipBe cautious of dryness! Use after applying a hydrating ampoule and moisturizer. The white cast can be quite noticeable, so apply in small amounts multiple times.

ConsIt seems to leave quite a noticeable white cast. My face looks ghostly pale... It doesn't seem to absorb well into the skin.

However, feeling a bit self-conscious about going completely bare-faced, I've been using this product with a slight white cast as a sunscreen. While the white cast isn't too intense, it does have a brightening effect that evens my complexion by about half a shade. I love that in summer, this sunscreen is all I need for a quick and easy routine.
ConsThe slight dryness might be an issue. The texture is quite thick, making it suitable mainly for those with oily skin. I wouldn't recommend it for people with dry skin. Due to its thick consistency, you need to be careful when applying it by hand. If not absorbed properly, it can leave visible streaks, so make sure to blend it in thoroughly!

There's no heavy or suffocating sensation at all.
ConsIt seems to take a while to absorb fully. The white cast is quite noticeable on the skin.
