True to its calming claims, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes! As for the rest... The coverage was really disappointing, and the product just flies away... I was shocked when nothing came out even though I hadn't used it. The included puff is also subpar, and it feels like I'm just applying a brightening moisturizer. The staying power is poor too. And it's incredibly drying, unfortunately. I understand it's meant to be matte, but still... I'd like to recommend it, but it's discontinued anyway! It's only good for summer use, nothing more. Oh, and there's really no reason to buy this specifically. It didn't have any calming effects, it just didn't cause any blemishes, that's all. - c9********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJan 12, 2025
I was pleasantly surprised by how well it protected against UV rays. The coverage was also remarkably impressive. When I used it, my skin tone was around 21 (neither 20 nor 22), but this product was unexpectedly dark for me. About two hours after application, the darkening effect was no joke. Also, with just a bit of heat, my makeup would immediately start to break down, making powder an absolute must-have. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 29, 2023
I love the high-quality ingredients in this product. It leaves my skin feeling slightly moisturized and gives it a beautiful glow, making my complexion look fantastic. If you're expecting high coverage, you might be disappointed. It provides only a light coverage, enough to slightly conceal mild redness and faint blemishes. Given its light coverage, I recommend applying a long-lasting concealer to problem areas before using this cushion. This technique works wonders for a flawless finish. - go******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2023
My complexion falls between shades 23 and 25, and when I apply this thinly, it brightens my skin just right. Thanks to its quality ingredients, I don't experience any blemishes when wearing it. The longevity isn't great, but to be fair, most cushion foundations these days seem to have issues with staying power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2023
It feels a bit brighter than the usual shade 23 I use. It's more like between 22 and 23, so it's great when you want to brighten up your complexion! The coverage is really disappointing. Honestly... If you have a lot of blemishes or scars like me, you're better off using a different cushion. Also, it seems Clio products either work really well for some people or not at all for others. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. While it might be good for those who need a soothing cushion, I didn't feel any calming effects, and it actually caused more blemishes, so I had to stop using it. If you're using shade 23 and feel like your face looks too bright, try applying some brightening moisturizer on your neck to even out the skin tone. - co*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesJul 19, 2023
I'm writing this review after using the product for about a month. The case is sleek and pretty. It doesn't even show fingerprints on the outside. Clio has been releasing a lot of square-shaped cushions lately, but I personally prefer round cushions as they're more convenient to put in my bag. - It's too white. Despite hearing many comments about it being bright, I bought the darkest ginger shade in 22, but even with a small amount, it separates from my neck. You really have to apply just a tiny bit to avoid it looking too white. - The coverage is similar to applying a brightening moisturizer. If you're looking for coverage, I recommend using a concealer or trying a different cushion. - You can't layer it. This cushion seems to require applying a very thin layer with a small amount. When I tried to build it up, it immediately caked. I experimented with light and heavy skincare bases, but multiple layers always resulted in caking. In conclusion, I don't plan to repurchase. Not recommended for dry skin. It's better suited for those with oily skin, as it will blend with the natural oils and break down beautifully over time. For dry skin, no matter how much you hydrate beforehand, it still cakes up. If you have dry skin and need to touch up, I suggest wiping off the existing product before reapplying. - sj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 13, 2023
I have blemish-prone, sensitive, combination skin with a 21-22 shade. For me, skin comfort is more important than coverage. This product applies thinly with a slight cooling effect. It's moisturizing and has a brighter tone. It pairs well with Plant Base Sun Gel Emulsion - when applied over sunscreen, it has good staying power. I switched to this after using Clio's Founwear Cushion XP, which felt too thick and drying. I'm very satisfied with this product. It causes the least irritation to my blemishes. Since my top priority is not aggravating my blemishes, this suits me well. I recommend it for those with super sensitive skin! It doesn't cover blemish scars at all, but it slightly corrects mild redness or areas with excessive yellow undertones. It creates a natural skin look, so it might be good for those with fewer scars. You can maintain a dewy inside and matte outside by layering: organic sunscreen - soothing cushion - powder. For blemish-prone skin, before touch-ups, just blot excess oil with blotting paper and reapply the cushion. This is much gentler on the skin and allows for a cleaner finish! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 8, 2023
It adheres well and applies thinly. The cushion design is also beautifully sparkly. It accentuates dead skin cells and starts to separate after a few hours. For those with dry skin, it might work better if you have a solid skincare routine as a base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2023
The puff is firm, providing excellent adherence to the skin. It's less likely to get caught in the creases around the nose. It tends to sit on top of the skin rather than blending in, and sometimes the makeup comes off when pressed. - dl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2023
Honestly, this is truly a holy grail product for me. For context, I have combination dehydrated skin that's sensitive and prone to blemishes. Wow, it doesn't make me look greasy at all. I bought it late because it's marketed as a soothing cushion, but even if it wasn't, it would still be my holy grail. It just gives a natural, healthy-looking glow to the skin. Maybe it's because I'm used to low-coverage products, but this doesn't feel heavy and seems to provide decent coverage. I don't usually write such long reviews, but I just love it. Why didn't I buy this sooner? I'm even tempted to try shade 3.5 now! Hmm, I honestly can't think of any downsides. The price is reasonable too (got it on sale for 25,500 won). If I had to nitpick, maybe the case?
