  Pros

  As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that I could use this without any major blemishes! It's wonderfully hydrating too. With the current humidity, I find that applying just this essence keeps my skin feeling moisturized.

  Cons

  I was shocked when I checked the price - it's a bit steep. I wonder if it was too nourishing for my skin? When I apply it with my usual cream, I get small bumps. So lately, I've been using this alone with just my pore essence!

  The Hwahae Testers review: - Used for 7 days, every morning and night 1. On a richness scale of 1-10, it's about a 4. 2. Has a watermelon and cherry scent. 3. Doesn't cause immediate blemishes on sensitive skin. Doesn't feel heavy or suffocating on the skin. 4. Experienced less deep dryness when going out after application. 5. Interestingly, it pumps out a mix of clear serum from the top and red serum from the bottom (see photo). 6. Unlike other serums with droppers, this pump format is more convenient to use. 7. Pleasantly surprised by the generous amount for a serum!

  Cons

  1. Despite consistent use morning and night for a week, I didn't notice significant skin improvements. (Not sure if it's due to this product, but my skin actually broke out more. Before using this, I had a set routine that gave me smooth, glowing skin every morning. Switching to this serum, my skin felt firm after waking up, but I didn't notice any calming effects.) 2. My skin became somewhat blotchy overall. (Some ingredients in this product might not agree with my skin.) Conclusion: If it hadn't irritated my skin, I would have continued using it due to its many benefits! Note: Please consider that I have extremely sensitive skin when reading this review.

  Tip

  For morning care, 2 pumps seem ideal, while 3 pumps work well for night care. (I tried 4 pumps, but it felt slightly heavy and rich, making my skin feel a bit suffocated.)

With none of the 20 cautionary ingredients or potential allergens, it didn't cause any blemishes or skin irritation whatsoever. When you pump the product, you get a transparent nourishing serum along with a high-purity red lipoarabin ampoule. Mixing these two liquids and applying them to your face, you'll notice it doesn't feel sticky at all, thanks to its gel-like texture. It adheres to the skin instantly and absorbs well. I found it incredibly convenient that this 2-in-1 product provides both firmness and hydration without needing to apply multiple base products. Right after application, my face had a beautiful glow, creating that coveted 'honey skin' effect, which was very satisfying. Even with just the ampoule, my skin felt deeply moisturized and not dry at all. A major advantage is how long-lasting the hydration is, despite being an ampoule. Moreover, it's not heavy even when applied in summer, making it suitable for use all year round. I especially loved that it doesn't cause pilling when applying makeup. Lastly, the subtle floral scent was pleasant and mood-lifting.   It's definitely hydrating! This ampoule provides moisture without any stickiness, which is rare. No blemishes, and it absorbs well.   <Safe Ingredients> As someone with sensitive skin who could hardly use high-nutrition ampoules, it's great that this doesn't cause any blemishes when applied! Most ampoules or nourishing creams were fine at first, but would usually end up causing irritation and breakouts... Although the retinol and citric acid in the pink serum part are said to be irritating for sensitive skin, perhaps due to the small amount, it didn't make my skin feel tingly or stuffy when applied. <Texture> It feels like it's firming up the skin surface? Almost like a fixer that locks everything in place...! I don't usually use nourishing products, so I definitely notice the difference [!] I thought, 'Ah, so this is what a nourishing skincare product feels like'... ^_^; Plus, maybe because I only pump it once, it doesn't feel overly greasy for a functional product... There's no oily residue on my hands, and when I let it drip on oil blotting paper, it actually spreads less than a regular moisturizer. The pink serum feels slightly richer though. <Packaging> The case is unique and nice - it's divided into two parts but connected inside, so the ampoule and serum come out separately without mixing. It seems like a case that minimizes air contact with the contents and prevents separation of layers!
