  As someone with oily scalp and thick hair who's tried many anti-hair loss shampoos, here's what I love about Benton's Beer Yeast Shampoo: 1. High-quality ingredients 2. The scent is unique - it's like a forest or hinoki cypress aroma. I personally enjoy this fragrance in the shower; it's relaxing and seems to neutralize scalp odors effectively. (It's less intense than The Body Shop's Ginger Shampoo) 3. Slightly reduces hair shedding 4. Eco-friendly packaging - you can peel off the label and recycle the container

  1. Cleansing power: For oily scalps, while anti-hair loss properties are important, thorough cleansing and rich lather are crucial. Unfortunately, this shampoo doesn't foam up well, which is disappointing. 2. Inconvenient packaging: Unless you purchase a separate pump, you have to open the cap and flip the bottle to dispense the shampoo. I ended up buying a pump for an extra cost. It would be great if the pump was included. 3. Price: It's not exactly budget-friendly

  I'm satisfied that it's not irritating to the scalp. The scent isn't overpowering either. I've repurchased it.

  After seeing great results with Benton's scalp ampoule, I decided to give their shampoo a try too! Here's what I love: ✔️ It has that signature Benton woody scent, which I adore! ✔️ Leaves my hair so soft, I don't even need conditioner ✔️ While it doesn't give that super 'squeaky clean' feeling, it keeps my hair feeling fresh for longer ✔️ Works well even for those with seborrheic dermatitis - it's gentle enough!

  ❌ Didn't notice much difference in hair loss or strength ❌ There's a slight beer yeast smell when washing (like alcohol) ❌ The scent doesn't last very long, which might be hit or miss for some

  High in beer yeast content with great ingredients. Seems silicone-free. The scent is a mix of herbal, woody, and green notes, which I love! I bought it for my mother too. It cleanses the scalp thoroughly, leaving it feeling refreshed and squeaky clean, but not dry - it's still moisturizing. I'm on my second bottle now.

  Cons

  It's such a shame it doesn't come with a pump. Why don't they make it with a pump? Please change the lid. I had to deduct one star for that. The product ingredients and performance are all good though.

  Tip

  It cleanses thoroughly when you wash twice, especially when you have dead skin cells.

  I've been using this for just over a week since receiving it, and as someone with dry hair that doesn't get oily quickly, I wash it every other day. While I can't say the hair loss has drastically reduced, it does seem to be falling out less. I'm sure it'll improve with consistent use! I usually dislike strong mint scents, but this one is pleasantly refreshing without being overwhelming. Also, I appreciate that the label peels off easily for convenient recycling.

  The price is slightly higher than other shampoos... More frequent discounts would make it more accessible to others.
