The application is decent. I mix it with my cream and serum steps. Despite being super sensitive and prone to reactions from even the most popular Olive Young products, this one suits me well, so I keep repurchasing it. It's a bit lacking in hydration for standalone use, especially if you have dry skin. - 88********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 27, 2024
The absorption is fantastic - not sticky at all, and it absorbs really well. It provides great hydration too. I've been repurchasing this set with the toner for years now! I've seen a friend who doesn't react well to aloe get blemishes from this, so those who are sensitive to aloe should be cautious! It works even better when used together with the toner from the same set! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 5, 2024
Affordable, hydrating, and lightweight. This emulsion offers the best value for your money. If you apply makeup too soon after using it, it tends to pill and slide. It's best to let the emulsion absorb fully before applying makeup. Pro tip: Apply a small amount of the emulsion to your face after washing your hair, but before blow-drying. Then, reapply after drying to combat any dryness caused by the heat. - gi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 6, 2024
I bought this as a light emulsion to use after applying ampoules, and it's great because the aloe seems to suit my skin well. It has just the right amount of moisture and hydration. Using just this skin emulsion might be a bit drying for some. However, it's a decent product for most skin types, except for extremely dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
Despite having super sensitive skin, I experienced absolutely no irritation. It feels moisturizing when applied, but that sensation only lasts for the moment. After a few minutes, I noticed deep dryness. - se******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2024
As someone with extremely dry skin, I need products with shea butter, and this one is perfect. The scent isn't overpowering either. My skin is super sensitive, so I've been using this along with Sidmool aloe for years now. In winter, when dryness is severe, I have to slather on this emulsion generously and then add a layer of Vaseline on top. If shea butter doesn't agree with your skin, you should probably avoid this product. - jo********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2024
It's gentle and doesn't cause blemishes, making it perfect for daily use. I really like it! If you have dry skin, you might need to layer it with other more nourishing products. - rh****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2023
Easy to use even in summer. The price is incredibly affordable. It's better than the green tea emulsion. None. However, it can be a bit drying outside of summer, so I recommend using it with a cream. - ic********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2023
A gentle essential that's perfect for year-round use. It's a bit rich for summer use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2023
The scent is lovely, and despite my sensitive skin that often reacts to products, this one seems to work well for me! I don't have any specific complaints! I'm not sure if it's considered expensive or not.
