I have sensitive skin, so if the ingredients don't agree with me, my skin gets irritated. But this product is gentle and non-irritating, so I've been using it well! Also, as the name 'Soothing Essence' suggests, I could really feel my skin calming down and the texture becoming more refined after using it. :) I've been using this product after toner, and the lightweight formula absorbs easily without feeling heavy on my skin!

The soothing effect is truly amazing! When your skin is externally stimulated or irritated, nothing beats the mugwort essence. I always stock up on it during Missha sales - the entire mugwort line is great.

Pros
This is a skin toner, and it's very moisturizing. When my folliculitis was at its worst, I used this as a skin pack along with aloe vera gel, doing it every day. It really helped calm things down a lot. Using this together with the cream has helped it calm down even more, and now it's not as inflamed or irritated as before. It's just maintaining well. Before the reformulation, it felt a bit too oily, and I was worried it might make things worse when I first started using it. But it actually helped calm things down, and I prefer the reformulated version. This skin toner has great moisturizing power. I apply it two to three times. That helps address the inner dryness.
Cons
Maybe because it's fermented, it has a bit of an oily feel to it, so those who don't like that kind of texture might not like it. The glass bottle is heavy and delicate, and when you dispense it, it can drip down the bottle, so you have to wipe the opening each time to keep it clean.
