  Pros

  The fixing power is excellent, and it barely transfers onto masks. The longevity and coverage seem to outperform other cushions. The puff is wonderfully dense, and it covers nose blackheads amazingly well, giving a pore-filling effect. Since it sets quickly, pat it on instead of rubbing to avoid puff marks. Gently tapping it on beautifully covers pores and creates a flawless finish.

  Cons

  However, being a matte cushion, you need to thoroughly moisturize to achieve a smooth skin texture. If applied to dry skin, it starts to separate within minutes. The Vanilla shade is extremely light - applying it thickly can look cakey and too pale. Due to its drying effect, I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin.

  Tip

  When touching up, be careful not to build up too much product. Carrying toner pads to remove and reapply thinly could help. Since the Vanilla shade is very light, try applying it only to the center of your face and blend outwards with minimal product left on the puff. After finishing your cushion application, pat your face with a clean puff as a final step - it will absorb any excess product and leave your skin with a velvety finish. Definitely give this technique a try!

  Pros - The pore coverage is truly impressive, and it gives a clean, polished look to the skin! It seems to have great coverage power, probably due to its matte finish, and doesn't settle much into wrinkles. The darkening effect isn't too severe, and while it doesn't break down easily, when it does, it seems to do so gracefully. The best part is that it barely transfers onto masks! Every time I check my mask, there's minimal transfer. It also naturally brightens the overall complexion.

  Cons

  Cons - As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I found it a bit drying even with a good skincare base. While others mentioned it felt moisturizing upon application, I didn't get that sensation at all. Instead, it felt quite powdery, making it difficult to blend the cushion on my face after applying. Also, since I started using this cushion, I've been experiencing blemishes on my face. Despite all its other great qualities, these issues are disappointing.

  This might be the best cushion foundation I've ever used. It's absolutely perfect for oily skin! I've recommended it to my friends, and they all love it too. It seems to stay put even under a mask.

  I always used to apply no-sebum powder after my cushion foundation due to stickiness, but with this cushion, it instantly feels powdery soft, so I don't need to! It doesn't feel completely dry either - there's a moisturizing sensation underneath, making it gentle on the skin. Even after wearing a mask for over 4 hours, there was no transfer. I'm truly impressed!

  Cons

  Rather than applying thinly, it tends to go on a bit thick, so you might need to adjust the amount you use at first.

  Tip

  Of course, the puff that comes with the cushion is absolutely fantastic, but I found that using a damp beauty sponge on dry skin adds extra hydration and works wonderfully!

  I love how it provides great coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. It doesn't transfer much to masks and doesn't break down easily. Plus, there's no darkening effect. Olive Young often has gift-with-purchase promotions, so one purchase can last you a long time.

  There's not much to complain about, but it seems to wear out the puff quite quickly.

  Tip

  For the best skin finish, I find it works even better when used with a moisturizing sunscreen that's not matte, something with an emulsion-like texture.
