When applied, there is no eye irritation and it applies comfortably and gently. The whitening is not too severe, and it is not sticky, so the application is also quite good, but it is not a tone-up sunscreen. It is one of the sunscreens that I often reach for because the skin feels comfortable. Personally, I think mineral sunscreens are a little more effective in blocking UV rays than organic sunscreens, so I tend to use mineral sunscreens more often.
ConsThe price-to-volume ratio is not very affordable, and it does have a slightly expensive feel to it. While it is available at Olive Young and can be considered for purchase during sales, these days there are many other brands offering good sunscreen products with great ingredients, so other alternatives are also worth considering.
TipThere are no special tips ^^

It's non-irritating and comfortable. There's no eye irritation!
ConsIt's difficult to purchase as it's a dermatologist-distributed product.

I had previously been prescribed Zero-id products by a dermatologist, so I trusted it right away. Mineral sunscreens often leave a heavy white cast and can feel sticky, making it difficult to apply properly. But this sunscreen absorbs well with just a light patting motion, so I could use it even before applying makeup. It also provides a subtle tone-up effect, so I could wear it on bare skin and still look presentable.
ConsApplying too much of this sunscreen can result in a white cast, so I can't use a heavy application.

Cons🧸If applied on dry skin, it can appear slightly white and dry 🧸However, it doesn't seem to control oil very well; 🧸As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I received the sunscreen, but if I were a regular consumer, the price might be a concern

Originally, when I applied sunscreen, my face would itch, turn red, and feel irritated, so I couldn't use sunscreen very well. But then I happened to find a mineral sunscreen that suits me, and while I was looking around, I heard that mineral sunscreens are better for sensitive skin. ✔After using it, my skin feels comfortable. There is no swelling, itching, or redness, which is great! ✔It provides a slight tone-up effect, which I like. It doesn't make my face extremely bright, just a subtle glow, which I'm very satisfied with. ✔It's more moisturizing than other mineral sunscreens. Compared to organic sunscreens, it's definitely drier. But it's (relatively) more moisturizing than other mineral sunscreens. If I build a good base with my skincare, I think I can use it in the summer as well. ✔I'm glad it has almost no fragrance. I don't like cosmetics with fragrances, and I'm satisfied with this.
ConsI wanted to use a mineral sunscreen, so I tested a lot and received samples to try. Since my skin is dry, most mineral sunscreens were quite drying for me. While this one is less drying than those products, I can't say it's completely moisturizing! Aside from a slight dryness, I'm satisfied with everything else.

I like the slightly whitening tone-up effect, and this product fits that criteria perfectly. My skin feels comfortable and there are no bumps or breakouts. First of all, it has no scent. There is no oiliness or shine on my face. My face doesn't feel parched. There is no eye irritation. The application varies slightly between different sunscreens, which makes it really hard to describe, but this product applies smoothly and evenly, blending well into the skin. I usually double cleanse, using a cleansing oil followed by a cleansing foam. For some reason, this sunscreen removes easily. * I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and received the Zero-id/Daily Sunscreen 50ml (SPF 50+/PA++++) on April 28th (Thu), and used it until May 8th (Sun) before writing this review.
ConsI was so happy to be selected that I used it for 3-4 days, and then wanted to stock up on it. I searched for the price and where to purchase, and found that Hwahae doesn't sell it anymore. The regular price is 32,000 won. The Zero-id website provides a list of hospitals that sell the product, so I had to call local hospitals to check if they had it in stock and then go purchase it. Or I could search for 'Zero-id sunscreen' on *bay, which has various sales channels besides the official website, but I'm a bit hesitant about that, wondering if it's okay to buy it there. I've never heard of Zero-id products being discounted, so I'm a bit reluctant to repurchase.
TipWhen I want a glowy look, I apply the Dall* Mild Sunscreen first, and then the Zero-id Sunscreen on top. Using just the Zero-id Sunscreen alone and reapplying every 3-4 hours can make my face look cakey, so I adjust the amount and timing when applying it. That's why I use a non-whitening sunscreen plus the Zero-id Sunscreen.

Scent📌Even those sensitive to cosmetic scents should be able to use this well. Spreadability📌Although this is a mineral sunscreen, it spreads on like a lotion, very smoothly. It doesn't have a thick, creamy feel, so it's easy to apply. After application, there's a slightly powdery, soft-focus finish. This should be great for summer. Breakouts📌As it's known for being gentle, I didn't experience any breakouts after applying this sunscreen.
ConsPrice📌To be honest, this wasn't a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. I absolutely couldn't use this due to the shockingly high price. How disappointing. 📌The white cast is mild. Those who want a stronger white cast may be disappointed. And the slightly powdery, soft-finish after application may not be ideal for those with dry skin or those who prefer a very dewy makeup look.
TipEven though the sunscreen is moisturizing, the soft-focus finish means that those with dry skin should make sure to thoroughly apply their base skincare before using this.

As for the usage, I don't particularly like sunscreens with a lot of oil, but the Zero-id sunscreen had an appropriate moisture level and matte finish, so it spread smoothly. It didn't feel foreign on my skin when I applied it 40 minutes before going out. It was good that I could wear it all day even with a mask on. The sunscreen's unique scent was barely noticeable when I was out and about with a mask on, so I could breathe comfortably, and it seemed to adapt well to my skin. There wasn't much of a white cast. (As a man, I'm on the lighter side, so I was told that shade 21 is suitable, and shade 23 would be a bit too dark.) I'm very satisfied with the review. I would use it again after finishing the current bottle.
ConsIt was okay to use on my skin with a slight breakout, but when cleansing, using a cleansing oil seemed to wash it off more thoroughly than a regular cleansing method.

It provided great moisturization for my baby's skin, and we were able to overcome the eczema. I had been interested in this brand because of this experience, and I was very happy to receive this event. My skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts after giving birth, so I've been focusing on basic skincare products and base makeup. The best thing about the Zeroid sunscreen is that it's really gentle. After applying, there's no stinging or discomfort, and the appropriate moisture level leaves my sensitive skin feeling comfortable and not irritated. There's no fragrance, and it doesn't have a heavy feel, so it feels truly gentle and comfortable. It's easy to apply thinly and evenly. It has a calming effect on my suddenly problematic skin, which I really appreciate.
ConsThe slight white cast is a bit disappointing, but I think it's not a big issue since it gets covered. The moisturizing effect is so good that it feels a bit heavy, rather than light and refreshing. It might feel a bit warm in the summer. It seems important to apply it thinly and evenly. Over time, it tends to clump a bit when I wash it off.
TipAs a busy parent, I don't have any special tips, but I'd recommend applying it thinly and evenly, even in a hurry.

Sunscreen is a must for me. It applies smoothly and doesn't have an artificial fragrance, so it doesn't sting my eyes! Some sunscreens can leave a very shiny or white cast, which can be really uncomfortable on the skin...🥲 But this product didn't have that issue, and my skin felt comfortable after applying it. I sometimes have issues with excess oil production and a tight, shiny feeling, but I've tried many products and this one works the best for me! It's also perfect to use as a base before makeup. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this product. The amount is just right, it stands up well, and it fits nicely in my makeup bag. I've heard that the Zero Oid skincare line is known for being top-notch, and their sunscreen is no exception. 👍
ConsThere's really nothing disappointing about this product. The only downside is that I wish I had discovered it sooner.
TipSince it's a moisturizing and comfortable formula, you may not need to use too many other skincare products. Of course, it will depend on your skin type, but applying it over a light base should be sufficient. And it works great as a makeup primer too, without any pilling (I have some oiliness and enlarged pores). I definitely recommend giving it a try!
