The slight white cast is not excessive for a mineral sunscreen. It's a gentle sunscreen that applies comfortably without any eye irritation. The white cast isn't too severe, and it's not too thick, so it absorbs well. However, it's not a brightening moisturizer type of sunscreen. It's so comfortable on the skin that it's one of those sunscreens I find myself reaching for often. Personally, I prefer mineral sunscreens over chemical ones as I believe they provide more effective protection, so I tend to use mineral sunscreens more frequently.
ConsThe price isn't particularly budget-friendly for the amount you get, and it does feel a bit expensive. While it's available at Olive Young and worth considering during sales, there are now so many sunscreens from various brands with good ingredients on the market that it's possible to consider other alternatives as well.
TipNo special tips to share.

It's gentle and comfortable, with no eye irritation!
ConsIt's a bit difficult to purchase in regular stores since it's a dermatological product.

I've previously been prescribed Zeroid products by my dermatologist, so I trusted it from the start. While mineral sunscreens can be notorious for their white cast and pilling, this one absorbs well when patted in at the end, making it perfect for use under makeup. I also love that it provides a subtle brightening effect, allowing me to confidently go out with just this on my bare skin.
ConsThe only downside is that you can't apply too much product at once, as it may lead to a noticeable white cast.

Cons- If applied to dry skin, it may leave a slight white cast due to dryness - It doesn't seem to control oiliness very well - As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I received this sunscreen for free, but as a regular consumer, I'd be concerned about the price

Originally, I couldn't use sunscreen well because my face would get itchy, red, and tingly when I applied it. Then, by chance, I found an organic sunscreen that worked for me. Later, I heard that mineral sunscreens are better for sensitive skin, so I was looking for one. ✔ After using this, my skin feels comfortable. I love that there's no swelling, itching, or redness! ✔ I like the slight brightening effect. It's not an extreme change, just a subtle brightening of the face, which I really appreciate. ✔ It's more hydrating than other mineral sunscreens. Compared to organic sunscreens, it's definitely drier. However, it's (relatively) more hydrating than other mineral sunscreens. With a good skincare base, I think it could work well in summer. ✔ I love that it's almost fragrance-free. I don't like cosmetics with added fragrances, so I'm satisfied with this.
ConsI wanted to use a mineral sunscreen, so I did a lot of testing and even tried samples. Since my skin is dry, most mineral sunscreens felt drying on my skin. This one is less drying than those products, but I can't say it's completely hydrating. Apart from the slight dryness, I'm satisfied with everything else.

My skin feels comfortable, with no bumps or irritation. Firstly, it's fragrance-free. It doesn't leave a shiny finish on the face. My skin doesn't feel parched. There's no eye irritation. The application feel varies slightly between sunscreens, which can be quite difficult to describe. This product spreads easily with a light, smooth texture and adheres well to the skin. I usually double cleanse with cleansing oil followed by cleansing foam. Perhaps because of this, it removes easily. * This review was written after using the Zeroid/Daily Sun Cream 50ml (SPF 50+/PA++++) from April 28th (Thursday) to May 8th (Sunday), which I received as a winner of The Hwahae Testers program.
ConsI was so excited when I won and used it for 3-4 days, but then I wanted to stock up and looked for the price and where to buy it. It's not sold on Hwahae, and the retail price is 32,000 won. The Zeroid website lists hospitals that sell it, but you have to call local hospitals to check if they have it in stock and then purchase it there. Or if you search for Zeroid sunscreen on *bay, there are several sellers besides the official website, but it makes me a bit uneasy about whether it's safe to buy. I've never heard of Zeroid products being discounted, so I'm hesitant about repurchasing.
TipWhen I want a glowy look, I apply the Dal* Mild Sunscreen first, then layer the Zeroid sunscreen on top. If I only use the Zeroid sunscreen and reapply every 3-4 hours, it can look cakey, so I have to be careful with the amount and timing of application. That's why I use a non-brightening sunscreen + Zeroid sunscreen combination.

Scent: Even those sensitive to cosmetic fragrances should be able to use this comfortably. Application: Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies as smoothly as an emulsion. It's not thick, making it easy to spread. After application, it feels slightly powdery, which should be nice for summer. Blemishes: As Zeroid is known for being gentle, I didn't experience any breakouts after using this sunscreen.
ConsPrice: Honestly, if it weren't for being part of The Hwahae Testers, I couldn't afford this. The price is disappointing. The white cast is minimal, which might disappoint those who prefer a more noticeable effect. The powdery finish post-application might not suit those with dry skin or those who prefer a very dewy makeup look. Also, because it applies like an emulsion, some might feel it doesn't provide enough coverage.
TipEven though the sunscreen feels moisturizing, it finishes with a powdery feel. If you have dry skin, make sure to apply your skincare thoroughly beforehand.

As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy overly oily sunscreens, I found the Zeroid sunscreen to have a perfect balance of hydration and a matte finish, spreading smoothly on the skin. I applied it 40 minutes before going out and didn't feel any discomfort on my skin while waiting. It was comfortable to wear all day, even with a mask on. One of the best things was that it didn't have that strong, typical sunscreen scent, making it easy to breathe while wearing a mask. It adapted well to my skin. There wasn't much of a white cast, which was great. (I've been told I have a fairly light complexion for a man, around a 21 shade, leaning towards a toned-down 23.) Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. I definitely plan to repurchase it once I've used it all up.
ConsWhile it was okay to use on skin with slight blemishes, I found that when it comes to cleansing, using a cleansing oil rather than a regular face wash made a noticeable difference in how thoroughly it removed the sunscreen.

It moisturized my baby's skin so well that we finally overcame the eczema. Because of this experience, I've been interested in the brand, and I was thrilled when they had an event! My skin is sensitive and combination-dehydrated, plus I've been dealing with postpartum blemishes. As a result, I've been focusing only on basic skincare and base makeup. The best thing about Zeroid's sunscreen is that it's incredibly gentle. After applying, there's no tingling sensation, and it provides just the right amount of hydration to keep my skin moisturized. Even with my highly sensitive skin, I didn't feel any discomfort - that's how I could tell it was truly gentle. There's no fragrance and no burning sensation. It doesn't cause any itching afterwards either. It's literally gentle and comfortable as described. It's easy to apply thinly and evenly. It felt like it was calming my suddenly troubled skin, which I really appreciated.
ConsThe white cast is a bit disappointing, but... if you think of it as coverage, it's not really a problem. Probably due to its good moisturizing properties, it feels heavy rather than light and fresh. It might be a bit warm for summer use. It's important to apply it thinly and evenly. I noticed it tends to clump a bit by the time I wash it off.
TipWhile I don't have any special tips since I'm busy taking care of my baby and apply it in a hurry, I do recommend applying it thinly and thoroughly even when you're in a rush.

As someone with dry and sensitive skin that burns easily and is prone to freckles, sunscreen is a must for me. I love how this product glides on smoothly without any artificial scent, so it doesn't irritate my eyes! Unlike some sunscreens that leave an intense shine or white cast, making my skin feel uncomfortable, this one doesn't do that at all. My skin feels at ease after application. I've tried many highly-rated products and various sun sticks, but this one suits me best! It's perfect as a makeup base too. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied - the size is just right, it stands up well, and fits perfectly in my cosmetic pouch. Zeroid is known for their excellent skincare line, and now I can say their sunscreen is top-notch too!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. If anything, I'm just sad I didn't discover it sooner!
TipBecause it's a moisturizing and comfortable formula, you probably won't need to apply too much skincare underneath. While it may vary depending on skin type, it works well over a moderate skincare routine. I was pleased to find that it can be used as a makeup base without any pilling (I have oily T-zone and visible pores). Give it a try, everyone!
