  - The scent is not overpowering, but a subtle floral fragrance which I love! - The moment you apply it, you can feel your skin becoming firmer - The stick format is hygienic, and it doesn't melt easily, which is great - It glides on smoothly without feeling dry or stiff - When I apply it generously, by the next day my blemishes seem to have calmed down

  - Perhaps because the usage period has been short, I'm not sure about its wrinkle-improving effects - It works fine around the eyes and nasolabial folds, but it causes small bumps around the chin area (My chin area became severely itchy, so I had to soothe it with aloe vera leaves) - Because it's so firm, it tends to catch and stick to hair quite easily

  First off, I was pleasantly surprised that despite being a stick, it wasn't greasy or sticky like a sunscreen stick at all! That was a big plus. I loved how it absorbed completely overnight without feeling like it was sitting on top of my skin when I woke up. The stick format makes it easy to swipe on, and it's perfect for touch-ups throughout the day, especially for those who go foundation-free or don't wear makeup. While it's not overly rich, it's not completely oil-free either. So if you have deep dryness or very dry skin, applying this stick after hydrating your skin can help lock in moisture, preventing that tight, dry feeling throughout the day. I have atopic dermatitis, and even when I apply emulsion, my neck area tends to dry out quickly. But when I used this stick over the emulsion, it seemed to keep the moisture in for quite a while (though it's not incredibly hydrating on its own). It's ideal for sealing in moisture rather than providing hydration. If you dislike the greasy feel of sunscreen sticks, you might really enjoy this. My mom, who usually needs to mist her face after lunch due to dehydration, said she didn't feel that tightness on days she used this stick under her makeup. Also, as someone with super sensitive skin that easily gets red, itchy, and tingly with even slightly irritating products, I didn't experience any of those issues, so it seems to be truly gentle on the skin!

  As mentioned earlier, it's really just for locking in moisture. To be honest, I can't tell if it's actually good for wrinkles or firmness. As for the glow, you need to apply it multiple times and then put on cushion foundation to see any effect, but then it can look quite shiny. If you want a glow with just one application, it's only possible when you're not wearing makeup. You might want to skip this step when you're in a hurry. If you try to apply it quickly like you would with other skincare steps, it tends to pill.

  For those who want a slight glow when wearing makeup, I recommend applying your moisturizer first, letting it absorb completely, and then applying this essence stick! Otherwise, it can cause your cream to pill and potentially make your makeup look cakey.

I've moved past the extremely oily phase of my 20s to a more balanced oil production, but I still feel a bit of dryness after cleansing. I used to have frequent blemishes, but now I only get major breakouts when I'm very tired or during the peak of summer. - Application: As it's a stick format, it glides on smoothly like a lip balm. The purple stick peeks out and applies gently to the face. Being solid, it's not super creamy, but has that characteristic softness of a stick product. - Absorption: It's not a greasy formula, so it absorbs well after a few gentle pats. - Scent: There's a light scent reminiscent of strawberry or berry bubblegum. It's not overpowering, which I personally enjoy. - Moisturizing: It's supposed to provide a glow and specialize in wrinkle reduction, so my expectations were high.   Compared to the Gahee Multi Balm I was using before, the First Shot Stick has significantly less oil content. It feels much less rich than the Multi Balm, so I could apply this product multiple times without any heaviness. The Multi Balm was quite oily, making it sticky and uncomfortable around the eyes. In contrast, this essence stick is pleasantly hydrating with a lightweight feel. It's not uncomfortable at all around the eyes and seems to just fill in the wrinkles nicely.

  Cons

  Like the Multi Balm, the First Shot Essence Stick doesn't seem to have a major effect on existing wrinkles. I'm using it more as a hydrating preventative measure to stop new wrinkles from forming.

  Tip

  Let's prevent wrinkles by using this diligently morning and night! Those with oily skin might find this product more suitable than the Multi Balm as it's fresher and less rich.
