As someone with super sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I couldn't wear sunscreen without my skin freaking out, but I couldn't go without it either. Then my dermatologist recommended this sunscreen after hearing my concerns. Unless you're going to the beach or somewhere similar, an SPF 30 is perfectly fine for everyday use. It's absolutely fantastic! There aren't really any downsides. For those with oily skin, you might notice some shine coming through after a while, but that's about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2024
1. It's gentle on the skin. I have sensitive skin that usually breaks out when I use sunscreen, but I didn't experience any blemishes after applying this one. 2. True to its name, it washes off easily. However, I prefer to first gently massage it off with Zeroid Gel Cleanser, followed by a second cleanse using Zeroid Foam Cleanser (the pump type). I believe all sunscreens require double cleansing. 1. It leaves the skin too shiny. When you apply this, your face becomes really glossy - powdering afterwards is a must. It might be better to apply a thin layer twice, carefully controlling the amount. 2. It's quite expensive... Honestly, the price is a bit burdensome, but because it's such a gentle product, I'm still considering repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin, I've had issues with every sunscreen I've tried, always causing irritation and discomfort. But this one is truly gentle. No itching, no tingling, and no blemishes whatsoever. It's also great that there's barely any white cast. A real winner! It stings my eyes, and for my combination dehydrated skin, it's way too rich, leaving my face shiny all day long. The price is also pretty wicked... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2024
It's easy to wash off with the cleansing water or gentle cleansing foam, and it doesn't cause any blemishes! The price is a bit high for the amount you get. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin as it tends to be on the richer side. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2024
I started using this product on January 1st! I have seborrheic dermatitis, and my dermatologist recommended using sunscreen since sunlight can be harmful for my condition. They gave me a sample of this product to try. I was initially apprehensive about applying it, as even gentle products sometimes cause a burning sensation on my skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Immediately after application, my skin felt incredibly comfortable. While I did experience some warmth about five minutes later, I believe that was due to my skin condition rather than the product itself. Usually, if a product doesn't suit me, I feel the heat right away, which wasn't the case here. It's also easy to remove with a mild, low pH cleanser. If this product works well for my super sensitive skin, I think it would be suitable for almost everyone else! So far, I haven't experienced any negatives! While it does feel a bit oily, it was fine for my dry skin since I could only apply one layer of skincare underneath. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 10, 2023
I wish I could give this sunscreen more than 5 stars! I've been a sunscreen nomad, never finding one that worked for me, but after a month of use, I've finally found my holy grail. Every time I tried a popular sunscreen, I'd break out with blemishes, get tiny bumps, or my super sensitive skin would turn red. It was so stressful watching my skin react badly every time. I've tried everything on the market, both chemical and physical sunscreens, all claiming to be gentle. When my skin flared up and I went to the dermatologist, they told me to stop using sunscreen altogether and just use Zeroid cream. My skin improved dramatically with just the cream, but I was worried about sun protection. The doctor suggested trying Zeroid's sunscreen, and oh how I wish I'd tried it sooner! I regret all the time I wasted on other products. Not only does it prevent breakouts, but it also improves my complexion. At first application, it felt oily and I thought it would clog my pores and cause blemishes. But to my surprise, no breakouts occurred. As time passes after application, the skin finish is incredible. My pores look cleaner and my skin appears smooth and healthy. Just be careful with the amount you use! Another great point is that it's easy to wash off, so it's not burdensome for sensitive skin. It comes off easily with just a regular cleansing foam, causing no irritation. I feel like I'm a Zeroid ambassador now, haha! If you're like me and break out from sunscreens, give this a try (I really hope it works for you too!). I hope my review helps those who are struggling with sunscreens like I used to. The only downsides are the expensive price and the slightly oily feeling when applying. Everything else is perfect. Due to the richness, it might be difficult for those with oily skin to use in summer. Zeroid cream + Zeroid sunscreen. Just use these two, add concealer where needed, and your skin makeup is complete! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2023
As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually find both chemical and physical sunscreens irritating, causing a tingling sensation that bothers me all day. But this one is truly, truly gentle on my skin. It's the most comfortable sunscreen I've ever used! Though I noticed it has the lowest SPF rating among the ones I've tried. With just SPF30, I'm caught in a dilemma - should I skip sunscreen altogether and just cleanse quickly to minimize skin irritation? Or is using this still better than nothing? But the biggest drawback that makes me hesitate to repurchase is the rich texture. It's not that it gets oilier over time; rather, it maintains that initial shiny appearance all day long. It feels like my skin is coated with a layer of oil. It was okay when I applied it with minimal skincare underneath, giving a decent glow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 13, 2023
Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave a strong white cast and feels moisturizing. Even with my sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes and suited me well. It only has SPF30. The price is somewhat high. Those with oily skin might find it a bit greasy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2023
I appreciate that it's mineral-based and has good ingredients. The way it absorbs is also nice. It feels too rich on the skin, and the white cast is quite noticeable. I'm not sure if it's truly easy to wash off either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2022
1. A slight cooling effect when applied. Perhaps due to the hyaluronic acid, it feels a bit refreshing on the skin. 2. Smooth application. It has a slightly thinner consistency than an emulsion, allowing for easy spreading. However, it dries quickly, so applying it a bit faster helps cover the entire face evenly. 3. Better ingredients compared to other sunscreens. Unlike typical sunscreens that contain pore-clogging ingredients like stearic acid, this one doesn't block pores. Most importantly, its low SF index makes it feel gentle enough for daily use. Being easy to wash off, it can be removed sufficiently with your regular foam cleanser. I've tried three sunscreens so far: Innisfree's yellow sunscreen, Innolab sunscreen, and Dr.G Green sunscreen. All three caused severe blemishes. However, with this sunscreen, I don't worry about breakouts except for the occasional small pimple or two. 1. Initially oily, then drying. When first applied, it feels matte and powdery. But as someone with oily skin, I notice it starts to look shiny quickly. Strangely, though it feels oily at first, after some time it becomes too dry. It's that exact feeling of being dry underneath while looking oily on the surface. 2. Burning sensation. Zeroid products don't seem to agree with me. Both this and their daily sunscreen cause a burning sensation when applied. This one is slightly better, but the heat I feel after application is still very bothersome. 3. Uncertain about sun protection. The SPF is definitely lower, so the protection seems inadequate. Even after applying this, my face still gets red from sun exposure later. It feels like it makes little difference whether I use it or not. It certainly doesn't cause blemishes, being easy to wash off. While I appreciated that aspect, with the wide variety of sunscreens available at Olive Young these days, I don't think I'd go out of my way to order this online. I won't be repurchasing.
