  Texture: With a hydrating gel-cream formula, it strikes a balance between rich and watery textures, making it smooth and easy to apply. Absorption: As a hydrating gel-cream, it absorbs well into the skin. The smooth application allows it to sink in quickly. Moisturizing power: It seems to focus more on deep hydration rather than surface moisture. For combination dehydrated or oily skin, it provides adequate moisture for use through winter. However, for my extremely dry skin, it's not quite enough when used alone. Scent: One of this product's biggest advantages might be its fragrance. Although it contains fragrance, it didn't cause any blemishes on my sensitive skin. The product features a prominent eco-friendly herbal scent that suits it well. Using this cream as the final step in skincare routine with its herbal aroma feels quite healing.

  Cons

  While effort was put into the packaging, I think including a spatula would allow for more hygienic use!

  Cons

  I have combination skin that's dry in the evening and extremely oily in the morning. When I apply it in the morning, it's fine. But when I use it at night, it absorbs so quickly that my skin feels parched. It's like my skin drinks it all up, leaving it feeling dry. So I follow up with a drop of facial oil after applying this.

  Tip

  Apply this in the evening and follow up with a drop of facial oil for added hydration.

  As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review. 1. I love the light texture with a hydrating feel. Layering it thinly in multiple coats prevented my skin from feeling tight, even in the dry transitional weather. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, which is great. As winter approaches, it might be a bit light for those with dry skin, but perfect for oily skin types. My brother, who hates sticky creams, says it's just right. 2. The packaging is great - no excessive wrapping. Many products use oversized containers to deceive, but this cream's case matches its actual volume. The opaque container lets you see how much you've used, which is really convenient. 3. Gentleness. Despite my sensitive, eczema-prone skin that often reacts, I've been using this without major blemishes. I had some breakouts during my period, but they subsided after - not sure if it's due to the cream or just timing. I'll need to use it longer to be certain. 4. Scent. It's not completely unscented, but the fragrance is so light it's barely noticeable. Sometimes cream scents can be overpowering, but with this product, any trace of scent disappears after application.

  Oh my gosh, isn't the packaging just adorable? You can tell they've put thought into making it eco-friendly too! It seems great for dry skin. I'm not a fan of thick layers in summer, but this is perfect for layering thinly multiple times. It absorbs so well! Maybe it's because of the high birch sap content?
